Patient Testimonials
“I want to start with, I have deep respect and understanding of all caretakers and people who deal with people for their job. I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt because I know everyone has their days. However, I was extremely disappointed with my visit to their urgent care facility. I was treated with extreme disrespect and they did not provide a welcoming energy. I was having what I + my care team believe to have been an early miscarriage and I was extremely upset as most would be. I did not know if I was pregnant or what was going on, I was scared. My nurse and my doctor showed no empathy. The nurse asked me without even any greeting or compassion "have you ever had a miscarriage"? Later on in the conversation she very unprofessionally and condescendingly told me next time I should go to planned parenthood, right in front of my mom and I. I was really embarrassed and felt like they did not want me there. Her comment made me feel degraded, dirty and shameful. I was spoke to like a young teenager who was stupid and didn't understand pregnancy or womens bodies, when I am very much an adult and was just rightfully concerned about my situation. Shortly after, the doctor came in and ordered me a blood test and told me multiple times she would call me with the results that day within a couple hours. She never called back and it's been 4 days. I understand that work can get busy and there are many things to do, but that call was something very important to me and I never got it. Luckily I was able to set up my MyChart or I would still not know my results. I also had asked my doctor if my thyroid condition could contribute to menstruation issues and she responded with "I don't know, we don't treat thyroid disease here". I was simply asking a question not for any treatment. I felt that as I was in a very vulnerable situation- it would've been nice to see some reassurance or at-least a smile from someone. Overall, I would not go back to this facility. Although I will say that the receptionist was very kind, as well as my phlebotomist.”

“I hate that this hospital continues to hire staff that has no compassion. When someone comes to urgent care or the emergency room it's clearly because they feel like crap. I am running a fever, can't breathe, throat hurts, etc, etc. both the nurse and acting doc here today are rude with zero compassion. When I question a shot they wanted to give me, I said "I already feel like crap today and don't want something making me feel anxious" so I'll just take the ibuprofen and Tylenol" she says "okay, I'll just tell the nurse pharmacist to waste it and starts to walk out" Well I bite back. Not impressed.”

“Did a virtual visit appointment and they ordered a strep test. I was told to go into the urgent care to get swabbed in the lab. When I got there, they told me I couldn't do that and would need to be billed again for urgent care. So now I have to wait till Monday to get swabbed for strep so I don't get billed for an urgent care visit and a virtual appointment!”

“By far the worse.... Waited in Waiting room for hour then seen nurse to get BP, temp and talk to about why I was there; then back to Waiting room for another hour... get taken to the room and the nurse puts me in the room shuts the door and said doc will be in... No call light, never checked back in.. So another 1 hour Waiting in the room doc comes in he was friendly and nice said goin to do a CT, waited 30 mins and no one came for CT scan so I walked out... The nurse then calls me aka Jenna... rude to the extreme. Yes should of told someone, but the two sitting at the desk were haven a great conversation together.. If they were doing there job they would of saw me walk by.. The nurse that called said we were trying to locate you for a while now... um no you weren't bc I walked out 15 mins before you called me, and then when I said if you would of given me a call light since you value your patients I would of pushed it.. Im a CNA/TMA and I would never treat anyone like I was treated by her.. Do want to say the two ladies working the front desk when checked in & Julie the nurse that checked me in the first part were great, but the nurse after was HORRIBLE...”
