Patient Testimonials
“I gave 2 stars because I have been needy and they got me in right away a few times. Look at some of these reviews before you go in they are true. I feel like some of the nurses here do not listen nor follow direction due to ego of some sort. 1 visit I had a leaking iv. Asked the doc if it was OK then found out I was close to bleeding out. The nurse who put that in did not seem like she was having a good day or enjoyed her job. Another visit today a nurse had put a iv in my arm (it did not leak) but insisted on a iv with sodium chloride 0.9% I asked if the labs said I needed it or if the doc wanted me to have it. She returned about 20 mins later with one and hooked it up. The problem is my labs came back good. I'm not a doctor at all but I went there for high bp I left with better bp and a terrible stomach ache. By the time I got back home my bp was back up again my guess is due to a unnecessary iv. These are real problems affecting real people. I can see the other terrifying reviews here have alot of truth to them. Also to add think of the family's that have to deal with what this place has done. I'm OK I think I'll live (never can be to sure) but I'm not sure I can say this a legit place to go if you are sick and need help. I will be thinking twice before going to this er. Lastly I do appreciate some of the docs and fewer nurse here that helped with the second star. There's good people working here i think management should reevaluate how this place is ran.”

“On 08/19/25, I experienced the most unprofessional and unethical "care" of my life in the Emergency Department at Fairview Wyoming. Nurse Jenna C. refused to administer the anti-nausea medication the doctor had ordered, tossed a puke bag at me while I was actively vomiting, and stormed out of the room without explanation. She also failed to hang the new fluids she was supposed to start before leaving. After several minutes of waiting in disbelief, I used the call light to have her return. When I told her to adjust her attitude or transfer my care to another nurse, she laughed and said, "whatever." Seriously? I hope she uses that same arrogant, dismissive attitude when her superiors ask her to explain her conduct...or is it only patients she treats like trash? The misconduct didn't stop there. As I was being wheeled back from a CT scan, we passed her at the desk where she loudly said, "I'm so over this place!" in front of the tech and another nurse, who both looked uncomfortable. From the very start of my visit, Jenna was miserable, dismissive, and unprofessional. On top of that, infection control was practically nonexistent. I saw multiple staff members, including during my IV insertion and removal fail to use gloves. Ports were accessed without alcohol swabs, and I was never even given a hospital gown, despite being sent for a CT scan while still wearing my jeans and a shirt I had been vomiting on all night. Her behavior was so alarming that I reported it directly to the treating physician and the tech who witnessed it. Under the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics, nurses are required to follow physician orders, advocate for patients, and treat every person with dignity and respect. Jenna C. did the exact opposite: arrogant, neglectful, and unsafe. To make matters worse, the ER physician failed to provide even the most basic follow-up after my CT scan revealed an asymmetrical tumor in my neck, I was discharged without explanation, referrals, or answers. I'm assuming because he had also mentioned that he was finishing his rounds and his shift was over in the next half hour, but would make sure to stop by before he left.. As countless other reviews show, Fairview Wyoming has developed a culture where patients , especially those under 60, are treated like drug seekers rather than human beings. If this happens to you, document the names and report them to the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Board of Medical Practice. I am doing exactly that. Patients deserve safe, ethical, compassionate care , not contempt!”

“It's sad this is the closest and sometimes the only urgent care, ER.. etc that people have access too. All employees seem to be stripped of compassion, patience and common sense. This should feel like a safe place to come to but it feels like walking on egg shells. Unfortunately its the closest urgent care but lately I have been making a point to drive elsewhere if my ailment allows.”

“went to Fairview Medical in Wyoming, MN and had a horrible experience. I first checked in at Urgent Care around 7:45 PM and was advised to go to the ER for a CT scan and further evaluation. I finally got into an ER room at about 9:45 PM. When I was brought into the room, there was a cup of urine on the floor next to the trash and a dirty gown left on the table the room was clearly not cleaned before I was placed in it. The doctor didn't come in until 10:23 PM. At that point, I was told there really wasn't much they could do, other than suggest I see an ophthalmologist tomorrow. They mentioned they could order a CT scan, but the wait time was at least 1.5 hours just for the results, and it wasn't clear how long it would take to even get the scan started. Overall, this was extremely frustrating. The wait was long, the room was unsanitary, and I left feeling like my concerns were not properly addressed. I would leave 0 stars if I could 3 hours for nothing but a huge bill. Left with the same pain I went in with but more so with the stress included.”
