Patient Testimonials
“Late last December, I thought I tore a muscle in my left leg. After four visits to the ER (where they are loathe to give out painkillers) and a series of x-rays, the cause was determined to be spinal in nature. Some days, I had to use a cane to walk (I am 77). I finally got an appointment to the Pain Center on March 8th. I arrived at 7:30 for my 8 am appointment, did my paperwork, and paid my co-pay. I then waited until 9 am for a rather arrogant Dr. Benjamin Henkle to arrive, who gave me all of 10 minutes of his time (another patient was waiting). He felt the pain was caused by a pinched nerve, but refused to start a treatment plan without the results of an MR (which is still pending). My next appointment was to be by phone. I left still in pain and $40 poorer. Two weeks later, I am still angry about this. I will not return to the Center; instead, I have just started alternative treatment by acupuncture. (More on this later.)”

“There is no parking available. Arrived at front desk 5 minutes prior to appointment time, as I'm standing there the physician walks up and says"is my 10oclock here?" So I speak and say "is her name Marylou because that's me and I could only just get a parking space in your lot." she says "oh" and walks away, then I find out that I have to be rescheduled after standing there for another 5 minutes and coming all this way and wasting gas. Heartless and unethical behavior. I tried calling twice to say that I was circling the parking lot for about 15 minutes and could not even get through to speak to anyone. Don't waste your time here because they don't care about you or your time.”

“Went to pain management as I didn't want to take opiates anymore after being hit by multiple negligent drivers and I seen Dr Henkle. I have life long Injuries and had many surgeries including a fusion L5-S1. I was labeled a drug seeker even though I myself cut myself down on my pain meds to 1/8th and then they took me off my testosterone even though I'm diagnosed with very low testosterone due to very high stress of pain for many years. I was told to just try taking a swim. I was also seeing an doc for OMT therapy so he told me to just stick with her. I have a mostly paralyzed arm, so in short I guess he was suggesting to drown myself cuz I hand major PTSD and depression.”

“I go here for SLE, Fibromyalgia, a spinal problem, and chronic migraines. Dr. Henkle is such a great Dr. He's super intelligent too (as are his NPs). Every person I encountered here has gone out of their way to be helpful to me. The staff is kind & exceptional. This pain center has helped me have a life back and I highly recommend them.”
