“This is why I fired Dr. Davis. I originally decided to go to pain management to try to hold off as long as possible on having to get my 2nd knee replacement due to work constraints and length of healing time off of work. As well as having left upper arm pain that wakes me up nightly along with various other conditions. The 1st visit went fine. I met Dr. Davis explained the situation. I was prescribed the lowest dose of meds 2 daily. That was fine with me. Unfortunately a couple weeks later I took a bad fall. My next visit after the fall was with the NP and I asked her "do you think I need an mri?" She said "no I don't think so". She goes to confer with the real doctor and comes back in with yes you need a cervical mri (upper spine) when the majority of my pain was now severe left buttock pain since the fall and still left knee pain. I got a knee injection was given the same low dose of meds 2 a day and was sent on my way. So I did the mri and upper X-rays. The mri showed herniations and disc bulges in my diagnostic portal. I advised in their portal that I wanted to see the DR for the results visit. Upon arrival I AGAIN am met with the NP. So she of her own admission says they messed up and should've ordered a full mri. Which means another lower mri co-pay ($90) and lower X-rays and states she wants to check my tailbone. I have heard many people discussing fracturing or breaking their tailbone and the severe pain and it can take up to over a year to fully heal. Ok. But...my tailbone does not hurt. Feel free to cover your bases after you've already dropped the ball. So I can't sleep at night due to the left arm pain worsening since the fall and now can't work at my desk all day without severe left buttock pain. She again leaves me on the lowest dose of meds 2 a day. I now still have to choose what parts of the 24 hrs in a day I want to endure the most pain and take Tylenol the rest of the time. Dr. Davis would have known that IF I actually got to see HIM. Maybe he did know and chose not to care. I pay for private health insurance every month out of my own pocket to see a DR. I am not a "drug seeker" but turned to pain management out of desperation to have some type of quality of life. However I never dreamed as a 55 year old woman with osteoarthritis, a prosthetic disc in my neck, neuropathy, fibromyalgia and a host of other various ailments that a Dr. would just let his patient stay in constant pain like this daily and not even actually SEE HIS patient. I get it's more $ for him to have a NP see patients while he sees his chosen patients and does procedures and after all it is all about $ in this world. But it should also be about ETHICS and OATHS taken by doctors to treat their patients properly and not allow them to be in this type of constant pain daily. I will never understand how a Dr. can sleep at night practicing in that manner.”

“Miss Lauren was very thoughtful and thorough during my office visit. She treated me in a very professional manner and listened carefully to all of my questions and concerns. She was truly FIRST CLASS because overall she treated me as a human being, not a number. VERY SATISFIED!! Thank you Lauren. Sincerely,. CORTLAND WILLIAM KING WALSH”

“Terrible experience. Doctor Bryant didn't introduce herself, didn't ask my name, didn't ask how my pain was, did a cursory exam, dictated when I could get my medication filled (I had already been out for a few days, which means I am going through a rather painful withdrawal right now), and sent me on my way. I had seen Dr. Jolly for another condition about a decade ago and he was a joy to work with. I don't know what's happened, but they now seem more interested in "moving the meat" than taking time to get to know their new patients. I made a big mistake switching PM physicians. I would suggest people try LA Pain Doctors, at least they take the time out to do full exams and treat you like a human.”
