I have be a patient of Dr. Lopez for over 16 years. He has always been honest and informative on my back condition. Another doctor performed surgery on me and I developed sepsis. He was there for me, helping me get the correct diagnosis that my other surgeon refused to believe because his patients don't get infections. Thank you, Dr. Lopez for helping me to be able to keep working all of these years.

Long story, but a must tell story I've been seeing dr Lopez for many years and he was a very good and understanding dr. Of my pain . Last year I had to go to ER facture some ribs they gave me 2 shots of morfin 3mg and some Toradol for pain like 3 days later I had my appt. With dr. Lopez I was dirty they said and dr. Lopez dropped me I tried to explain my situation about ER and even sent proof of me being in the ER but he didn't care one bit , I feel i got blacked balled by him I've been to other pain management dr.s and all they want to give me is tyl.3 im in so much pain with my sciatic back nevers I got 1 1/2 toe chopped off, my back and feet got worse I tried calling his office again almost a 1yr. Later and I begged and cried for a second chance plz help me ill take that back surgery ill do whatever you say but they said No I'm pretty sure my pleading didn't even reach his ears . I got all my paperwork from the ER im so heart broken ill probably die with all this pain it's unbelievable how a dr. That you're seen for years can turn so cold and ugly inside, dr Lopez one day you will be in pain or a member some one you love ,I can't even enjoy time with my grandkids because of my pain. Jesus sees your heart so does KARMA TODAY WAS THE WORST DAY EVER FOR ME EVEN MURDERS AND CRIMINALS GET SECOND CHANCES .

This situation is no less than neglect, and a sueable offense. I am furious with the way my mother was treated. My mother is in excruciating pain and has been unable to get a refill on her prescription. Two weeks ago, Walmart submitted a request for a refill and my mother has been calling the office for the last WEEK trying to get her prescription renewed. She has spoken to the people at the front desk multiple times, each time they gave her an excuse and put it off. Today my mom was crying in the kitchen because she can no longer stand and when she called they had the audacity to tell her that she can't get her prescription until she sees the doctor. Why do I refer to it as "the audacity"? Because she has been calling them every day for a WEEK and NO ONE mentioned to her she needs to come in first. NO ONE attempted to make her an appointment. She has told them multiple times that she is leaving town and this is important but has been met with the poorest form of hospitality I have ever witnessed... even for Corpus. The front desk woman on the phone was rude and frankly, uneducated. She repeated over and over "you signed a contract that states you have to come in and see the doctor every two months." My mother clearly stated to the woman on the phone that she didn't understand and no one verbally explained it to her when she signed. She is EIGHTY years old, disabled, and in constant pain. Are you telling me that a medical facility who deals with senior citizens and patients in pain with disabilities on the DAILY doesn't know that those are all contributing factors to poor memory?! On top of that your only resolution is pain medication which also adds to forgetfulness. So you run a clinic that deals mostly with patients who may have difficulty remembering and you don't have a protocol set in place to prevent that from happening? Why wasn't an appointment scheduled immediately before she left the last one? Why wasn't my mother called to make an appointment when her two months was up? Why wasn't my mother called to make an appointment the moment Walmart called to renew the prescription? Why wasn't my mother asked to make an appointment the FIRST time she called a week ago?! FOUR chances you had to make this right. And instead of taking responsibility for your poor management skills, the front desk person tried to gaslight her and repeatedly (and i mean, repeatedly, it was like she didn't know any other lines) told her "you signed a contract, you should know." This would have been the last opportunity to say, "hey, you know what, we should have told you to come in, lets get you in TODAY and try to resolve this for you." But instead she responded to me (after I got on the phone to defend my poor mom who looked like she was going to cry) by scoffing and saying "LOTS of people are in pain." (DISGUSTING RESPONSE!!) So, not only did she blame my elderly, disabled mother and refuse to do ANYTHING to resolve the issue, now she decided to diminish her importance by generalizing the situation and making it seem like "so what, you're not the only one, lady." When I called her out on this completely insensitive and thoughtless reply, she pulled the gaslight card once again: accused ME of being rude and HUNG UP ON ME. How heartless and callous do you have to be to hang up on someone in this much distress?? Very unprofessional staff and ghetto. I pray to GOD this staff has the privilege to experience EXACTLY what it feels like to be in my mom's situation one day; that no one will be willing to help you in your darkest moment.
