“I have struggled with neck pain all year and couldn't understand why someone in their early thirties would have these issues. It seemed to stem from nowhere. I've always been healthy in my food and movement in exercise. And then my PT told me about Dr. Barr. I was nervous at first thinking I'd come in for pain management and be prescribed pills for the rest of my life, but I was sorely mistaken! Dr. Barr uses a functional medicine approach, asking me about my past healthy history and emotional traumas as part of her overall holistic assessment. She made me feel like a person and not another number in a doctors office. The result of her assessment was the need for prolo therapy (similar to PRP). Unfortunately, because this was a regenerative medicine procedure, insurance did not cover it. “Dr. Barr has done more to help me in just 6 weeks than any other Dr I've seen in 4 years!! I have been suffering from chronic upper back pain for far too long. After years of physical therapy, epidural injections, cortisone shots, dry needling, countless massages, and ultimately a 3 level acdf surgery, my pain was worse than ever. I decided to see Dr Barr as a last resort. Sort of a medical "Hail Mary"! At my first appt, we thoroughly discussed my health history.
