Patient Testimonials
“*20+ year chronic pain problems, 6+ months now at Lifespring under Dr. Obah.* I'll give a background on why I give a five-star review. The clinic has been outstanding and I want to recognize that just give people my journey so that they know what to expect. For those who want a TL:DR: Dr Obah and Mina are excellent, they will take plenty of time with you and your appointment to hear your concerns. If you need a full hour for a visit they will give you a full hour and you will never feel rushed to leave. Every member of the staff knows me by first name. I have no trouble reaching them by phone. When necessary, I've been be worked in for a same day procedure or exam. It has been done with friendly smiles. They leave nothing off the table, but are most concerned with getting to the root causes of your pain rather than simply wanting to prescribe you something and expect you to forget about the rest. Most of this probably goes without saying but I will say: Be aware, it is not an huge franchise clinic. Do check in with the office. Sometimes they will have short days or some of the staff might not be available, so they might be closed or scheduled for a half day. I can only foresee this being problematic if you don't keep in communication with them. Now, to go a little bit longer just to give more details for those who want them to see what my treatment has been like- For over 20 years now I have dealt with chronic pain due to several injuries from sports and a life of hard work. I have nerve issues, a neck injury, lower back injuries, knee, shoulder and other injuries. For the last two decades I have had a few different clinic experiences as I've moved. I've experienced the full range of good, bad and middling doctors and clinics. This past year some chronic health problems, the state of my injuries, and my pain had gotten so bad that life was becoming impossible. I couldn't stand up straight to walk, sit for long periods, sleep, take care of myself, dress in the morning, or simply live a normal life. Lifespring, Dr. Obah, Mina, the other assistance, receptionists and staff have all been fantastic. They've helped me get to a point where I can stand up straight and walk upright again, clean my house like a normal person, dress myself, and get back to working, studying and being a normal person again. I had stopped even being able to engage in social activities and was becoming a shut-in. Things are back to normal! I hope others can experience the same.”

“I'm writing to express my concern about the poor customer service at the clinic. While Dr. Obah is a great and caring doctor, the reception staff, medical assistant's and clinic systems are inefficient. They often don't answer calls or return voicemails, and even go on holiday closure without addressing patient concerns and returning calls. This has significantly impacted my experience at the clinic.”

“I initially started seeing Dr. Obah, because I was trying to utilize injections to pin point my pain. 2018 crushed me in many ways, the trauma & pain made it difficult to regulate my emotions at times (crying ALOT ). I have been approaching things with a multidisciplinary approach. I have had years of PT, counseling, surgeries, etc. I switched to Dr. Robison after deciding I wasn't going to do injections anymore. I adore Dr. Obah & the time he spends with his patients, which was needed for me at the beginning, but seeing as he is so...busy & the only one that does injections I felt like transferring to a different doctor was fair so others can benefit from his compassion that I feel is rare. Recently I have gotten new pain & have been working with Robison & Obah getting injections again. Because these 2 Dr.s have helped manage most of my pain & been diligent in helping find a resolution, my emotional regulation has improved substantially, which has helped me to be able to advocate for my self. Dr. Robison has given me multiple suggestions after listening to me, those suggestions have worked wonderfully with my health plan. She is hands on & thoroughly tries to help find resolutions. I have had one hiccup with billing. Out of the many injections I have had here, only one I paid $50 for sedation, which later happened to be refunded fully to my lifesprings account. The balance started getting lower, and I was told it was co-pays but the balance didn't reflect that. I didn't realize this was happening & I called and confirmed balance was $50 previous to scheduling an injection that insurance wouldn't cover sedation, after they looked to see who I spoke with, it was detetmined this was a new employee that gave me inaccurate information. I showed up thinking I had a $50 credit ready to cover the cost of the needed sedation. I felt horrible that I was in this situation again. I realized that Dr. Robison & I had discussed 2 injections, insurance coveres the sedation for the other so I suggested we switch so the time wasn't wasted. I was thankful for the resolution. In the past when I was new I recall a miscommunication & ended up in the injection room being asked if I had paid for sedation. I was devastated because I didn't have the funds, I started to get ready to leave & they said they'd take care of it. Since then I have noticed needed policies have been implemented to avoid this happening again, pre-approval & informing which injections insurance covers sedation for. After thinking of all they have done for me I decided to leave it be, it evens out. I hope to continue with them as they help me on my journey to get back to the healthy lifestyle I desire. I have loved all the nurses, I only had one unfortunate encounter with a nurse I never worked with, luckily I was in a good place, I was able to be compassionate myself & realize they must've been having a bad day just like everyone else does, and although it seemed aimed at me I knew I didn't do anything wrong so I didn't own it, instead I killed it with kindness. So thankful for these 6 years working with lifesprings.”

“I had been seeing Dr Oba for years, but as I make my medications last longer than prescribed it was hard to guess when I would need to come in next. I had been through a few different providers that had come and gone, but then I started with NP Stacey Robison. Not only is she invested in my pain and physical quality of life. I do miss Liz her now moved on nurse, but her current nurse is wonderful too b”
