Patient Testimonials

I have only had good experiences with Interventional Pain Management. The staff here is very courteous and Dr. Malinky has been very helpful. They answer any questions I ask them and help put my mind at ease about procedures that need to be done. Good care is hard to find but luckily I found it here. Make sure you are early for your appointments because they are usually booked a few weeks in advance. Late is late, no excuse can change that, and no they cannot just "squeeze you in" because that would be disrespectful to all of the other patients they need to see. Being polite and common courtesy usually goes a long way anywhere you go. Anyways, I like Dr. Malinky, he seems to genuinely care. Same with the nurses and staff, I really appreciate everything you've done for me so far!

I went to this man after my spinal fusion surgery when I was in my early 20's and he was extremely harsh and rude right from the start and I was a very good patient, compliant, helpful, didn't take meds too early, and he never became any nicer. He was just a nightmare and straight up disrespectful. I am putting this out here to warn everyone thinking of going to him. I think his stars already speak for themselves. Thank you.

I had a procedure and the IV site became infected. They said they it would be tight, but they could fit me in 2 hours later. I told the girl if it's a problem I could go to Urgent Care. She said, no come on in. Well my husband got in an accident just before this phone call and luckily the car worked, he just had to put the donut on. Well we tried our best to get there on time, but we didn't realize just how bad the traffic was going to be, with very icy roads, driving on a donut. I ended up being 12 minutes late. The girl at the front desk told me the doctor just took his last patient and since I was late, he would not see me. I explained about the accident, driving on the icy roads on a donut, and the traffic being slower than usual because of the roads and she said oh well, you'll have to go to the ER. I explained to her that I told the girl on the phone that if it was so much of a tight squeeze to get me in, I had no problem going to Urgent care. She just shrugged her shoulders. Things happen that are out of our control sometimes and would it hurt to be kind, considerate, and sympathetic? I missed work to get there as soon as I could. Their nurse caused this infection in my vein when she gave me the IV. I suffered enough, they could have been courteous and saw me. Especially, the day before Christmas eve when getting into a doctor was near impossible and the infection getting worse as each moment passed. It would have only taken a couple minutes to see me.

Dr. Malinky is incredibly caring and a brilliant doctor. He has a very calm demeanor, which I suppose other reviewers have mistaken as uncaring, but they are wrong. He is very passionate about helping people, and is a great diagnostician. I drive an hour and a half from home to see him even though there are many pain docs much closer. He is the best of the best!
