“My most recent experience with pain management went from disappointing to hopeful. I had been advised that little more could be done for my back pain because the injection I'd had a year previously (lumbar facet joints) had negative results. When I mentioned the weakness in my right thigh, Dr Schuller discussed the possible connection to my lumbar spine and arranged for me to have a CT of the lumbar spine. She was correct as L4-5 was very arthritic on the right side and causing the nerve that supplies the thigh muscle to be affected. I'm now scheduled for an epidural injection of steroids and hopeful that I'll have some relief of my chronic and activity limiting pain. I've consistently found Dr Schuller to be very forthcoming, empathetic and is an excellent listener and invites questions. Options are discussed and why they may or may not be helpful. I give her my highest recommendation.”
