Patient Testimonials

I had an appointment with Dr Khan yesterday afternoon. It was a horrible experience. He asked me where my pain was located and twisted my back all around like I was lying to him about my back pain. He then told me he was not going to give me anything for pain. After he put me in more pain that I was already in. I woke up this morning in so much pain that it took my breath away where I could even move from him pushing and twisting my lower back like I had fell the day before. He told me that I can do physical therapy and injections. I seen a surgeon prior to this appointment and he showed me my MRI results showing 3 herniated disks and narrowing from my mid to lower back with a slight tare.I told him the pain has been so bad too where I hurt on a daily babies and that I've almost passed out several times from the pain. He said my results were bad enough too where if the physical therapy does not help that we would be talking about surgery in the future. He also told me that he was going to refer me to pain management and that they would prescribe me pain medication temporarily while I went to physical Therapy. I went and seen doctor Khan and he told me he was not prescribing me pain medication after he had already seen my MRI. Basically treating me like I was some drug addict when I was there to get help for my pain. I told him that the pain medication would help me only temporarily while I go to physically therapy hoping that the physical therapy helps my pain so I can work and do my daily normal activities. I would not recommend him to anyone if you are in horrible pain like I have been in for the past 12 years and the pain has only gotten worse. I've had injections and physical therapy in the past. Yes it has been a few years but my back has only gotten worse through time. I agreed to physical therapy and injections. I told him I don't want to be on medication for the rest of my life that I needed it to be able to move around at work and at home so that I would be able to avoid surgery and possibly injure myself even worse not being able to move from being in so much pain. Instead he sent me home with lyrica which is a medication for nerve pain that can take a period of time to start working in your system. When I needed something that was going to take the pain away the same day.I left very upset and very dissatisfied. I will not be going back.

Brittany Story

Does not listen bad bedside manner and seems to not care. he replaced my old doctor and changed my medication. Refuses to return any phone calls and has not called in a prior authorization for pain medication he called in.

I've been seeing Dr. Khan for about two years. His manner is impersonal and brusque. After being a pin cushion for the last 1.5 yrs., physical therapy, and medications tried,. I'm still in pain and my hand and shoulder still won't let me sleep some nights. I finally have surgery scheduled and I guess I'll have to see him for pain issues after 3 days and that scares me. But at least there's light at the end of the tunnel! 10.24.23 diagnoses ruptured shoulder, cuff tears, carpal tunnel, pinched nerve in my neck.

Can't say anything but good things about him. He's been working with me for two years. He just moves fast he needs to slow down.im second guessing on what I said I'm in extreme pain and Dr. Kahn will not prescribe me anything but injections thing is I hurt everyday , I can't get an injection everyday
