What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I'm not sure what happened but Dr.Balter is no longer available He was my favorite person there at the Clinic. Now I have to see the P.A. and she is automatically pushing all these MRI's and Physical Therapy .I can't afford it and I know exactly what works for my body to be able to get through the day. Dr. Balter, Where are you??”
— Christina Thacker
“Zero stars. Been "working" with Mr. Balter at midwest pain clinic for over a year. Still in the same if not worse pain then before I seen him. Push towards surgery rather then alternative pain relief. Staff and Mr. Balter do not return calls and do not care for their patients. It's all about the profit. I would not recommend him or the clinic to my worst enemy.”

“ZERO STARS, NOT one star, ZERO. Dr. Balter has the absolute worst care practice and is extremely dismissive and disrespectful to patients. He does not care about patients individually and treats everyone the same while priding himself on it. He makes patients wait up to an hour for scheduled appointments although he will refuse to see a patient if they are 3 minutes late. He does what he wants despite patient refusal or requests, such as radio frequency nerve preparation under the guise of a steroid injection. Beyond horrible to multiple staff and nurses with no decency to those who rely on him as a doctor or supervisor. While under pressure and patient inquiry he can become extremely irritable with the potential of emotional and mental abuse. Dr. Balter is not safe to be around and can display violent behavior that can be triggering or upsetting, especially for women. I would not recommend him whatsoever under any circumstances.”

“I had never been to a pain management clinic before, and I suspected I would just get pain pills. But Dr Balter and his PA spent so much time with me and were actually concerned with getting to the bottom of my pain, not just padding it with pills. I was examined, and a diagnosis was suspected, and on my second visit, he actually did a procedure for me! I have been to so many doctors and it seems either no one really cares or no one really had any answers. Dr Balter really came through and he really cares. I am so glad I was referred to this clinic and that he is my doctor! I have told so many people about my experience, and that they should go see him for their back pain too, thank God for Dr Balter!”
