“I would give him Zero stars if I could. I went to this pain doctor over the course of 6 months where he gave me cortisone injections for sciatic pain. On every visit he was dismissive of the lesions on my spine where he said "nothing to worry about, I see these lesions all the time and they are usually benign " He was even got mad at his friend Sweet retiring spine surgeon DR Jamison Glenn for suggesting I see an oncologist . When I was concerned on one visit that he injected the wrong side he had his gatekeeper assistant Stefan call me and patronize me and obstructed me from talking to my actual Doctor . Always dodging my concerns . And he runs his office with sweet naive med student interns from UCSD that are poorly paid or volunteer . Turns out I have bone cancer he ignored the possibility of and when I informed him of my incurable cancer diagnosis in email and leaving multiple messages for him he ghosted me with no apology and no empathy! I could have sought cancer treatment 8 months earlier than my diagnosis that was delayed by this doctor telling me not to worry . This is unconscionable neglect . He gives the medical profession a bad name . No wonder he no longer has affiliation with Scripps. if you have any kind of ongoing pain in your body Don't cover it up with cortisone from Dr Kumar get tested for cancer ! To get a real diagnosis .”
