“I can't understand people giving any less than a 5 star review? I moved out of state 8 months ago and not a day goes by that I don't wish I could still be under Dr Lee's care to maintain my back pain! He is incredible in every way. He had my back pain under completely control...My back is fused but like so many people I have residual and significant pain. When I was in Kona Dr. Lee had that pain totally under control. I'm now living on the mainland and I've yet to find a practitioner who can even come close to resolving my back pain. The staff at Kaloko was incredible as are the nurse practitioners. Especially Jessica, thank you for your compassion and your sharp mind. I miss the schedulers, the medical assistants and the office manger. Your entire staff is truly the best. “I was patient. 3xs no problem. My insurance paid in full. 4th visit i call bf for appt confirmation. Was told my insurance company won't cover. My insurance calls them, 3 way call. Told no one in billing available. I call. Same bs. I give msg from my insurance company. Need to correct last bill and resubmit. Staff person gets loud n rude. Won't do resubmit. Guess she neva makes errors. So I no longer patient because their billing person is perfect. No errors ever. Very unprofessional. The person treating me was awesome. He will never hear why I'm not allowed to come. I can of I pay the service in full myself”

“Dr. Lee is exceptional. I had tons of anxiety over an epidural injection in my lower back because on the mainland I had these done with mild sedation, but that is not offered at Kaloko. Dr. Lee listened to my concerns, explained the current research and told me that I would be happily surprised by the outcome without sedation. He was right. He has an excellent bedside manner, discussed my MRI images and took the time to answer all of my questions. In the procedure he talked me the whole way through it, describing what I should be feeling at any given moment and before you knew it, it was over. I never felt a thing after the initial numbing medication and I was out in 25 minutes total. He even gave me a referral for a surgeon on Oahu who deals with my specific issue. Thank you Dr. Lee.”

“Extremely rude and unresponsive. After a week of calling with no answer, we finally had someone answer the phone. I explained that we've been trying to make an appointment for a week and that my boyfriend needs an MRI desperately, only for her to say "That's not my problem. Did you listen to our answering machine? It says don't call more than once." and hung up on me. This is the only clinic in Kona that takes workman's comp insurance so we're left with no other option.”
