“My very first visit with Dr. Grainger seemed like he was a genuine and compassionate doctor. After that first visit things went south very quickly. He went thru my history of medicines that I had been on but didn't seem to care about my true medical problems. Dr Grainger had seen that I had been prescribed pain medicine for quite some time and he assumed that I only took the medicine to keep from having withdrawals, so I was completely cut off my needed medication after many many years being prescribed it. He just left me high and dry, no help to get thru the withdrawals from being cut off, no referral, no compassion! I guess it's typical these days for doctors to assume we're all just looking to get high and abuse pain pills. I'm so sick of the stigma from the doctors. I don't want to get high, I only want a little better quality of life without pain. I told my precious doctor that my medicine was no longer helping me for 2 years and he totally ignored me. We do build a tolerance for these pills and they do stop helping us. I could go on and on but I feel like this doctor didn't want to waste his time on me so I'm not wasting my time on him.”
