“Scheduled an appt the first week of July with Amethyst. Soonest available was end of August. Waited 2 months for this appt and got a confirmation email with directions. I drove (45min away) and was 30 min early, only to be told I was never even placed on the schedule and that they don't even take appts at the time slot I was given, even though she remembered me and all my scheduling needs... Best they could do was have me come back in another 2 weeks on a day that didn't even work with my work schedule (after having to take today off unpaid for an appt that never existed). Scheduling an appt with a specialist in this area is already a hassle and always involves a long wait time, but having to deal with something like this on top is totally uncalled for and unprofessional. None of this was my fault yet I am the only person inconvenienced. I should've been seen anyway, even if it meant someone not getting off by 4pm. If youre in need of a specialist, look around in other towns, hopefully they can actually schedule you and not only meet your medical needs but take them seriously.”
