“DR Benfield is more than amazing as a Dr and a friend. I really feel like a patient he cares about and not a number! He is very knowledgeable, kind, helpful and wants me to enjoy life without so much pain! He is the best ever. The procedure helped a lot that I had done yesterday. The best part to me is how concerned Dr Benfield is that it works and we are not in pain while he is giving me the shots!!! I love being really active and he is helping me stay that way at 79 Dr Benfield is the most caring doctor I have had in my entire life. I will be 80 July 13 and he has kept me feeling so much better being a pain specialist so I can ride my bike. I can hike and I can work out and do all the physical things that I love to do. Especially my hobby of working in my yard! He is amazing and cares so much to make this happen for me I had the three, four and five of the lumbar shot with steroids yesterday and Dr Benfield does such a fantastic job and it is not painful the way he does it. He is amazing and cares so much about me as a human being and wanting to do all the physical things that I love to do. I especially love to hike steep hills and he makes it possible for me to do that without paying in the back. I also love to paddleboard and that can be hard on the back, but it isn't with the help that he gives me. Again, a fantastic doctor. Yesterday I had the nerves in 3, 4 and 5 of the lumbar burnt. Dr Benfield is so thorough and makes sure it is done the best possible to take away the pain in the lower back. He is amazing and makes the procedure not so uncomfortable with great conversation and I know he cares. He is the best doctor I believe I have ever been to that cares as much as he does. Today it feels great already. I don't even think I will have to wait for two weeks like it sometimes can. He is so knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest and best for all of us patients. I have had horrible headaches for most of my life at least since age 30 and now I'm 80! Dr Benfield suggested an MRI on the neck and we did a block and it is amazing. I have not had any more headaches. He is the best and always wants to help us all to feel good.”
