Patient Testimonials

I've chosen to stay with this practice even when there were closer options and it meant driving nearly 2 hours each way in traffic because of the AMAZING staff, caring and genuinely concerned providers and the overall non-judgmental atmosphere. I bet they already know who left this review without a name bc I openly share my feelings about the few great medical establishments we have so they get the full respect deserved!

I went to the clinic with some questions about a procedure I'm supposed to be getting. The clinic manager refused to answer, all she would say was "your doctor discussed that with you". No, if they did I would not still have questions, and gate keeping information like that when you intend to stick needles into me? No. This place is worse than the VA. Seriously, flat out refuse to answer questions then drop you as a patient when you won't let them out needles in you without asking what's in them. I'm also not taking fitness advice from someone who has never seen the inside of a gym.

First of all, their answering service are whatever you want to call. It is crappy as ever. There's no way you can get hardly no way you can get to anyone. You can make several calls and everytime you get recordings and every time you push buttons, they switch to something else but nobody ever talks to me. And so, finally, after 2 days of calling a woman calls and I think she was the assistant for Vanessa beir and I told her, I said, I took only one of the pills that she gave me and I broke out in a sweat and I got itchy skin and all things started happening I just felt awful. And they don't really do a heck of a lot about it, they said, well, the Doctor said those aren't real symptoms that the medicine doesn't have that symptoms, apparently they haven't investigated it because that is one of the symptoms of a side effect. That's why I didn't take anymore. And I wanted to talk to the Doctor and they said no. You have to come in and the doctor won't talk to me on the phone. So I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do from now on.

We had to see the physician's assistant Vanessa Bair today and I do NOT recommend her, I would definitely reschedule to see someone else if she's the one you have to see. I understand that she needs to hear stuff from my husband and that's fine but I am apart of his support system, even through the V.A. I am my husbands caregiver and she acted like she didn't want to hear anything from me at all. Very unprofessional since he has a problem expressing everything that is going on (because on top of physical disabilities he also is treated for mental disabilities through the V.A.) and I DO have to help him explain everything that goes on and I KNOW everything because I am with him and help him with his everyday tasks 24/7, even his V.A. doctors understand and respect that. There was other things that needed to be said in this appointment that my husband will have to suffer through all because I wasn't able to talk and elaborate on the things going on because she had a chip on her shoulder and wanted to show her "authority" or whatever. Not to mention, she put that my husband reported the side effects of constipation and such and he did NOT say that at all!! My main concern is that my husband gets the proper care needed to help relieve his pain and it was very evident that she didn't want to work with me for the better management for my husbands care.
