“I am writing after significant reflection, not out of anger, but from a place of truth, professionalism, and healing. I will never forget the period in my life when I became bedbound due to severe pain following an injury sustained while working as a nurse at an HCA facility. At that time, Dr. Barsanti was a physician contracted by HCA to treat injured employees--care that was reimbursed through the hospital system and its associated corporate and insurance structures. Throughout my course of treatment, I experienced a pattern in which my pain and functional decline were minimized. Decisions surrounding my care felt driven more by insurance coverage, corporate cost containment, and reimbursement considerations than by a comprehensive clinical evaluation and the ethical responsibility we hold as healthcare professionals to relieve suffering and protect patient dignity. Following treatment, my condition deteriorated to the point that I became wheelchair-bound and ultimately bedbound. I share this perspective not to assign blame, but to highlight the lasting impact that rushed, dismissive, or system-driven care can have on a patient's life--particularly within large corporate healthcare structures. I want you to know that I forgive you. My sincere hope is that my experience encourages reflection and leads to greater compassion, patience, and ethical mindfulness in the care of future patients, especially those whose pain may not be immediately visible or easily measured.”

Even my primary care physician was surprised on how they treated patients. He immediately agreed and assured it was unexceptionable. He referred me to a more capable and patient friendly firm.
