What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Sweet and his staff. I usually see Angela here in Brownwood unless I am having a procedure done and sometimes I see Dr sweet, as well. They are both attentive and compassionate. They make you feel like your issues matter to them. I could not be happier with the care they give me.”
— Christie Baehr
“Amanda Sherley APRN is the best NP I've seen in a loooooonnnngggg time. She listens and addresses all needs. She's approachable and made referrals to help me with issues with my pain. Amanda, you are appreciated by the community and needed!”

“I wish there was a way to leave a 0 stars. I cannot speak for Dr. Sweet because I did not get to meet him or have my procedure. My husband took off work which is extremely difficult for him, so that I could have a driver. We drove an hour and a half to Abilene to be told that I did not have an appointment. We then drove an hour and a half back home. No relief, out $50 for fuel and no future appointment for a procedure-back to square one. I have been on square one for two years now. I am so frustrated with Hendricks, the doctors from Hendricks, 3-6 month scheduling on appointments, no answers or relief after my back surgery. Dr. Sweet's office staff canceled my appointment when I called and left voicemail requesting to reschedule my appointment. I did not receive a call or voicemail from them saying that my appointment was cancelled. I assumed that since I did not receive a call back there was no way to reschedule my appointment and I would keep the appointment I had. The biggest problem in communication is that you cannot call Dr. Sweet's office directly unless they give you the number-which they did not give me the number. As a patient you will have no access to Dr. Sweet's office unless his office staff deems it necessary for you to have that contact information. You will go through Hendricks "central" communication and leave a voicemail for Dr. Sweet. According to my phone records show that I called Hendrick's "central" communication over 10 times in the week before my appointment to see if I could reschedule-never once did I say I wanted to cancel my appointment. I even tried to call Dr. Sweet's office while we were traveling to Abilene and had to talk with someone in Hendrick's "central" communication. I did not leave a voicemail every time because there answering service instructs you not to leave more than one voicemail or you will "delay" a return call. I guess the good news is that his staff seems to be very courteous even about their lack of communication. I am just throwing my hands up, deciding to walk forever with a limp and being thankful that my pain is at least manageable.”

“Very outstanding place to be seen. I've dealt with severe pain for years and they are understanding, kind and caring. Appointments are very prompt and I've never had to wait. Definitely would recommend people to go here.”
