What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I couldn't get medical records in almost 3 months because the doctor never responded to messages about them from his office. Before that couldn't get a referral for pain management where I moved. When I first saw Dr Gwalani it took almost 7 months to get a referral for medication management. Great in person but otherwise nothing gets done”

“Dr. Gwalani is so kind and understanding. He is on top of techniques for pain management and has helped me so much. The staff and surgery pre-op staff are top notch and I really appreciate them. This is the place to go. I was at my end with medical help and then I found Dr. Gwalani.”

“Just went to Doctor Gwalani. He did exactly what he said . I'm so scared of needles, he said that I would be out and wouldn't feel a thing. My neck has been hurting me for years , I had given up on getting any relief. I truly hope getting this injection in my neck will a leave some of my pain. So I'm giving this pain management treatment Facility a 10 out of 10. Great staff and great care”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. I was a patient of Dr. Gwalani about 15 years ago(give or take). My current neurologist is trying to get records of the 2 epidural injections, the 1 facet joint injection and the EMG test he did; they will not fax it over to my current PCP or neurologist. They wouldn't even give me the physical results when I was a patient, the staff said I wasn't able to look at them or have any copies; which I found extremely weird as I've never had any issue getting a hard copy from any Dr. or specialist I've seen. A huge issue was when I went I let Dr. Gwalani that I had a medical marijuana card and asked him if that would interfere with my urine screens for my meds, he said it wouldn't and I had/have no issue with stopping if my Dr. says so. Well when I had my urine screen it apparently was a problem and all my meds were taken away right there. When I asked about potential withdrawals, he said because of my age I wouldn't have any; that wasn't true. So I was kicked off of my meds for something he said was ok and when I went to make an appointment after that, the staff said, "do you still want to see him since he isn't writing you controlled?". Like I was there for controlled substances, I was there for my pain(with my PCP's referral)and the amount of injections he did proves it(like 6). My favorite shady thing he did was he once prescribed me Xanax. When I told him I didn't need the refill he gave me and didn't finish the prescription; he asked if I still had them and if he could, "have them to give to some patient who is poor and can't afford them", word for word. I of course gave him them since he was my Dr. and I thought he was being sincere, I only thought it was strange after the appointment when I was in my car. Now I know thats strange and would never do that. When I saw him I was 22-23 and I really think he judged me with my age looking back. I didn't ask nor want back problems at a young age, but I did/do and expect not to be treated like I'm faking, especially when I have the MRI's(and reports, all info)to prove otherwise and jump through all of their hoops. If you can, save yourself the trouble and grief, and go to another pain mgmt Dr.; if you have to see him, I hope he has done a self reflection and has changed how he treats others and Dr.'s. As many people have said he has good bedside manner, everytime I met with him he treated me as I was a hassle, lying and just wasting his time; though he had all my reports from the tests I did prior, the new ones and the ones he had me repeat("because there's no way that's right!", it was). Save yourself the hassle, please.”
