“Unfortunately, I don't agree with a lot of the reviews. I've had decreased pain overall from the treatments I have received. These procedures are very critical and serious and knowledge intensive so I wouldn't expect the atmosphere to be jovial. However, I have always found them to be very pleasant. Dr. Shipley and the staff has explained the procedure and the outcome each time I had a procedure. They nurse always follows up with a telephone call to make sure everything is okay and if I need to be seen again. I appreciate Dr. Shipley (and his staff) for being available and offering his services with such expertise in his field of study.”

“If you're elderly, don't see this doctor! I was fine for 4 years but then he discharged me and I still don't know an honest answer why.? His reasoning was that he was unable to monitor me. but my pill count was alway accurate. however, my drug analysis was off due to another medication I was prescribed (which he was aware of). He discharged me for his own personal reasons (age). I don't recommend anyone over the age of 75 to see him for pain management. On a personal note, when seeing a pain specialist, always request a urinalysis instead of the mouth swab.”

“I thought that the staff was very caring and courteous. Dr Shipley took his time and listened and didn't just think it was "in my head" so to speak. With the new opiate laws , and his practice not being a high risk management center they have to limit the amount of opiates gradually, and even gave a choice if i wanted to be seen there or a high risk management. I chose to stay there. He seems to be a problem solver. Hes American so i can understand well, which helps ( not being prejudice but it helps to know what a dr is talking about) i have only had 1 visit thus far so will see .”
