“I want to start by saying Dr.D was a nice doctor that seem to genuinely care for his patients. Unfortunately, that desire to help may of stretched him into an area of practice that he didn't have much if any training in. If referred to him for spinal CSF leak treatment I'd urge you to look else where. During my procedure I ended up with a spinal puncture that caused an additional spinal CSF leak. It took getting to a speciality clinic (Duke, Durham NC) to find and patch this puncture. While reviewing the case notes it was mentioned that the wrong size needle (way too big) was used for patching increasing the chances of an additional puncture. Additionally following this procedure there was no after care which I now know is extremely important. Sweet doctor but not a spinal CSF leak doctor.”
