“I am a retired RN with 3 herniated discs in my back and have dealt with daily back pain for years. I've done chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, and more; temporary relief was the most I ever got. I decided to see if Dr Langevin could help me, and it was the best medical decision I've ever made. He practices genuine osteopathy, and his treatment has changed my life. I first saw him in January, 2023; he told me I would have pain relief when I left that visit; of course, I was skeptical. During the physical evaluation, he immediately was able to pin-point my problem areas. He thoroughly explained the treatment and said it would involve aggressive manipulation of my legs and lower back, and to be honest, it did hurt! After about 30 grueling minutes of manipulation, he told me to stand up, then bend over and touch my toes - something I have not been able to do in many years. I was absolutely stunned; I could bend up and down at the waist, touch my toes, go up and down stairs, sit down and get back up again, all with NO PAIN. It was unbelievable! It actually took me a few days to adjust to being pain free; until the pain was gone, I didn't realize how limited I had become! I went back to see him after 2 weeks; not because my pain was back, but to check to see if I needed any further adjustments, which I did. That all happened over 6 months ago and I remain pain free! My physical activity has increased so much, I lost 40 pounds and I'm back in to a size 4. I look forward to getting up every single day and going out to work at our farm. I don't normally do online reviews, but Dr Langevin is an exception. I recommend him without reservation.
