“They schedule a ton of "evaluations," but don't consider the full clinical picture and don't do actual assessments. The doctor did not do any assessment on my initial encounter, and he called me back to the office because he forgot - that feels like the whole point of an evaluation, so I was confused how that critical piece was missed. Then the PT never touched me or even looked up from her computer screen to check my form or give me pointers on what muscles to make sure I was engaging. She gave me a book of rudimentary exercises (knowing I have already done 9 months of PT and that I'm very active and know a fair share about anatomy) and they just base their whole program on two dusty machines rather than thinking outside of the box, using their hands, or connecting the anatomical dots. Every appointment was a big waste of time.”
