A vinyl banner at the main intersection 2 blocks away identifying Peace Health as a business practice operating in that location would have made finding the practice easier . The choice to inform the patient of the GUIDELINES SET IN PLACE was after the fact of sitting down with the clinician to review the practice and accept the fact that this facility only offers a limited scope of treatment and does not prescribe certain medications or at least specify the purpose of providing the service available was really vague . These notifications should be made plain and clear from the onset of the referral . This practice of making these choices clear is rather deceptive along with what might be termed a TAPER DOWN PROGRAM for certain medications should be posted and made available before the patient is half way through the examination is deceptive and eluding to the nature and cause of the referral itself . Those 2 key points might be better reviewed by the joint commission along with the federal trade commission that oversees the insurance regulations. I'm certain that I'm not the only one to encounter this inconvenience and costly measure . I plan on disputing the charges accrued today based on the facts outlined above and encourage any of the readers to do the same by reporting these complaints directly to the Washington State insurance Ombudsman.
