“I love this pain clinic! I've been going here for about three years. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly, helpful and sweet. My Nurse practitioner Alina, including Jewel, And Nora, listen and help you manage your pain. I receive enough medication to manage my chronic pain, plus have quality of life. There is no pressure to get procedures, but when you are ready for one, they will talk with you to help you decide what would work best for your symptoms. The Doctors and staff that perform the procedures are very professional, understanding, and caring about your well being. After over 15 pain clinics I found a clinic that finally see me in pain and they don't stereotype me as someone that just needs medication. I feel so blessed to have found them. Thank you to all the staff that has helped me since coming there. I never thought that there was anywhere that I could find a clinic that would be so understanding and kind. Blessings to all of you!!”

“PATIENCE BEWARE! Unfortunately there is no Integrity with this pain clinic. I was told repeatedly since June that there was no cost to me, insurance was covering everything up to twice a week. I have been continuing my treatment twice a week until recently when I received a very large bill and harassing phone calls to start paying immediately. Not to mention the laboratory they decided to use for my lab testing is out of network. They waited 6 months to invoice me let alone communicate to me that I was accruing charges then droped 2 large bills on me and then proceeded to harass me about payment. If they wouldn't have led me to believe I was in good hands I would have been able to make my own educated decision with my pain management and which Laboratories they use. They knowingly forced me to acquire bills from an out of network Laboratory. I sent a written request for explanation and in hopes for a resolution they didn't even have the courtesy to answer my questions. Again no Integrity here.”

“If you're in pain, look elsewhere. I paid $80 for a co pay and was seen by Jules, a NP who within 10 minutes told me I should have a medial branch block. No explanations just took me to the receptionist to make an appointment which I did. After leaving & not having procedures explained, I called back to make appointment with a different NP Alina. Again paid another $80 co pay for procedure to be explained. Made appointment for medial branch block & went in 4 procedure with sedation. Was to be seen by Dr. Patel (the owner of the facilities). I went in for the branch block and was met by a guy named Izzy. Asked him what his job was there, and was told IV tech (whatever that is). He placed an IV in my hand, told me to lay down on the table, put oxygen in my nose. Throughout this I kept asking when was I going to meet the doctor. Izzy kept saying, "Don't worry, you'll meet him." I laid down on the table. Mind you, I was not hooked up EKG machine, and they didn't' even take my blood pressure (I have high BP). He then put his hand on the IV he inserted. I said, "I really want to meet the doctor because I'm nervous." Izzy's response was, "No problem, you'll meet him and before you know it, you'll be out." Yes, Izzy put me out. There was no doctor in the room. Again, I'll repeat there was NO DOCTOR in the room. The next thing I knew I was in a wheelchair, don't ask me how I got in the wheelchair as I couldn't tell you. They DID NOT wake me up from the sedation but instead put me in a wheelchair, not checking BP or anything. Within twenty minutes I was being wheeled out to my husband's car and the girl holding the wheelchair told me to get up. My husband noticed that the foot guards were still up and told the girl to put them down. Good thing as I would have fallen. I called in the afternoon to say I had a headache and ask what could I take for the headache. NO RETURN CALL. I had a follow up visit with nurse practitioner and explained everything that happened telling her what happened and that it is actually illegal what they did. She tried to say that, "Maybe you just don't remember.". She said normally Dr. Patel doesn't like to talk to his patients but she's sure he would want to talk to me. (What? A doctor that doesn't want to talk to patients. Yes, you heard it right. Seems he's too busy with his practice to actually care to speak to patients. Well, Dr. Patel did call me while I was in the office but I had my phone off so NURSE says call him back. I called him back it went to voicemail. I left a message with all my concerns because his Scottsdale office said he was in a procedure but leave a message and he would call me when he was done. I have NEVER received another call back but do have his voicemail saying that perhaps I was confused as to who pushed the button to put me to sleep. It should have been a anesthesiologist but instead it was done by Izzy, a guy without proper medical training. There were three people in the room which I had asked each of them what they did. One girl said she was working there on an internship to be an anesthesiologist assistant. She said she was there for three weeks. There was another guy in the room, and I asked him what he did and he said he was a tech and he was there for two weeks. I am reporting this facility to the American Medical Association because they could cause severe bodily harm. I picked up my medical records and was shocked to see they dotted all their I's and crossed their T's as far as what was supposed to have happened. It in fact, was not done to a medical board's standards. If you're looking to have a procedure, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this travesty of a so-called medical facility. I have since gone to another provider in Scottsdale who actually did things the right way and they were so professional hooking me up to an EKG machine, BP etc. I would highly recommend not having any procedures at any of their facilities. They fall short on following medical procedures and could really hurt someone.”
