“On 11/11/24 I had an appt. I now have a new ins.medicare they do not require me to have referrals, but a Dr. Order my medicare carrier DOSE NOT! do referrals & Said you find your own specialist When I called inland pain specialist the recpst said I need a referral. I assured her I did not I needed an order. She said OK please get an order from the doctor saying that I needed to see a pain management specialist that was all she said so I got the order. When I came to my appt head recpst ask if it was for their facility I said I don't know she said it had to be for the facility. I said you did not tell me that or I would have got it for your facility. I had to try to get a Order correctly done and faxed to them so I could see the Dr that day which was not able to be done because My primary Dr staff was out to lunch & I did not get the order in time I had another appt that day to get my car fixed I never seen the Dr & I had to leave for my other appt The recpt proceeded to a short-lived disagreement about the referral process again she said I need it I said I don't my carrier Does not do referrals it is an order I have to have from the Dr She did finally leave it. I am a believer of a person may be having a bad day that could be reason for the attitude they have so I never judge, but I can tell you That the head recpst Had a very rude attitude towards me and ignored me when I am positive she seen me waiting to be helped. I thought she is busy at the moment didn't interrupt. I stood there for approx 5 min I know she seen me she looked up at an Already established patient and smiled at them. She did this to a few patients that had come in, but to me she had a very rude attitude. I do not know why. I tried to be very polite and kind as I believe that is the way the Lord would like me to be treat others as you would like to be treated. I am not singling her out the other recpst that was there was very polite and pleasant she answered my questions and addressed me in a very professional manner she was a younger woman they head receptionist was an older woman. So I could actually not tell you how good of a Dr he was I never got to see him due to the negligence of the head recpst guidance in what I need to do in order to be seen by the facility I really need to have seen a pain specialist Dr this month due to I could not use my Previous pain specialist due to ins change, not under my control this facility was the only facility that had an appt this month and I was grateful to find it. I really could have used a consultation and got back on the road to getting injections in my back which I desperately need and one day will require me to have surgery due To the issues I have that will not get better without surgery. Surgery only manages it and lightens the pain that I have but the pain will never go away. The quality and productivity of my life depends on going to pain management. For the rest of my life had this receptionist guided me with the proper instructions on what I needed to see the Dr then I would have seen the pain specialist that day because of her negligence and her attitude of I did nothing wrong but this is your problem lady not caring. I never got to see the doctor and she was not helpful in anyway. Again, I remind you, she was very pleasant to already establish patient. Her attitude was very rude , disregarding & ignoring me I usually do not Usually give bad reviews, Even when I've had a slightly bad experience due to the fact that maybe somebody is having a bad day but I feel in this experience that I should let this be known for the simple reason that maybe this person to be aware of their actions so hopefully they will change for the benefit of the Dr practice & the benefit of helping the patient, which is the reason the Dr has the practice is to help the patients This did not happen in my case The Head recpst had a very bad bed side manner i'm not sure why in my case why this has happened I do try to be polite and kind”

“When I first started coming here I didn't have to pay my IEPH/Medical cover my visit and medicine nonetheless the last time I went for my appointment they told me I have to pay $30 dollars that was in 2023 I didn't receive a notice or update before my appointment telling me I would have to pay a fee to see the doctor and for office visit I stop going there. that is so so wrong they want me to pay while charging my IEHP/Medical WOW”

“Excellent overall,I would just say to everyone leaving angry reviews & to new patients to not end up frustrated. Get a referral in writing (Don't fax) If you get a new prescription, ask them to check if the pharmacy has it or better yet talk to pharmacy 1st, because if they don't have it you might have to go see Dr again to get new script,I understand there are very strict rules & don't blame the Dr or staff, even if it might seem like they are unhelpful, just try to be aware of that & this is best Dr who reminds me of patch adams,he made me laugh despite being in tears from pain & female Dr is super nice & made me feel cared about! Staff is kind too. I would advise you send an email to them which seems faster,& never get frustrated with the receptionist who I'm sure is tired of addicts calling angry amongst non addict calls(just wait to talk to Dr in person or email, who is only person who can do anything basically),understand her job is hard, she is very kind if you are respectful & also apologize if you are at ALL rude even by accident ,like I did. Ppl need to understand they deal with all manner of ppl & have a hard job. I regretted not just accepting when receptionist said I had to see dr again to fix problem(because I was worried I'd have to wait a week/month without meds)I see now I should've just drove the next day to see Dr, because it's hard to fix prescription issues over phone.(don't argue, rules are rules) (I know it's hard when you are in pain, but don't listen to haters who expect unrealistic things) Only difference from this Doc & patch Adams is,this docs sense of humor is much funnier,he made me feel like I was important,& he is VERY personable & likeable like you've known him for yrs. 10/10”
