“Your experience here comes down to the luck of the draw. I was initially treated by Dr. Wellington, who is a prince of a man. Unfortunately, Dr. Wellington left and I feel like I've been thrown to the wolves. Some of the NPs I see are great, and others treat me like I am scum. I'm prescribed a small amount of medication and I have never called in to ask for more or claimed it was lost, yet I'm treated like an addict. I understand that the medical staff has to be careful, but you can perform due diligence and still be cordial.”

My first visit was 7 years ago, he listened, asked questions, did his own research, and he came up with a way to treat me for a long time. There is no cure for my disease, no treatment, Dr. Dorwart gave me an option to have one medication instead of 5. My pain level is around a 3-5 most of the time. He made sure I understood he couldn't relieve my pain 100%, but he could get it low enough that I could function and I can. As this disease attacks my body Dr. Dorwart is always ready to listen and to provide options for me.
