Patient Testimonials

On my first appointment, they said be there an hour early so I came an hour and a half early to make sure I had time to actually read the paperwork that I had to sign. My appointment was at 2 o'clock. At 1:20 the M.A. called me back, I said i wasn't finished with the paperwork. She acted pissed off. So I tried to read faster and she came back at 1:40. I said I'm so sorry but im still not quite finished. They wanted all your medical background, surgeries, medications, plus I wanted to read all of their rules and stipulations. So I finally was done at 1:50. (Remember my scheduled apt time was 2:00p.m.) So at 2 o'clock on the nose she comes out and says how much longer are you going to be because the doctor says we're going to have to reschedule you! I said, I've been done for 10 minutes. My apt was for 2. I really don't understand why you weren't wanting to give me the full time to READ and sign the paper work. Most of it I just initialed and signed without reading after the second time she came out and got angry. So, my next visit they did the EMG test and found out I have bad neuropathy in my lower extremities. Not news. I've known this for years. The pain meds the doctor put me on the first visit I noticed I was having some itching on my back, but thought it was unrelated. So, when it was time I got my refill. Then, my face started flushing and started having hives on my back. So I told the doctor doing the test (EMG) I needed to change my medicine. She said "It's against the law for me (who's a neurologist ) to fill any medication. You'll have to wait to your appointment in 3 weeks) Now I'm really having bad luck. The following Saturday my husband and I go out shopping and the store on the inside has a step up. I walk with a cane anyway because I have a (foot drop) so I go to step up but my damn left foot didn't make it and I fell. The footage from the store camera looks like I'm doing some kind of gymnastics move. It was so humiliating! But, let me back up a min. Earlier that day I took my remaining meds to my drugstore, I was there anyway, and put them in the box where you can safely get rid of unused meds. So, I go to ER and I broke my ankle. I call the pain clinic and they said let's get you an earlier appt. So I go, and my doctor says I can't give you anything unless you bring back your unused medications. I said if I'd known that I'd done that. They never gave me time to read my contract. So now I don't have anything for my broken ankle.

Horrible service! I needed a prior authorization sent to my insurance for an epidural. The problem is that my appointment took place towards the end of Dec 2024, and the prior authorization was sent to my old insurance, not my new insurance plan beginning in January 2025. A representative from my insurance company had me on the line with a front office member in the clinic to provide them with my new insurance information. Two days later, I spoke with my insurance company only to find out the new prior authorization still hasn't been submitted. Now come to think of it, half the time I call this office, I don't get a call back or any follow-up. Honestly, trying to advocate for my care is like pulling teeth with these people.

I absolutely love the people there.Dr kundi, Kat, Ashley, Mo-lo and Mallory. Very caring. Problem I have is I can't get thru their lines for assistance from the actual office. I get a call service who in turns sends a message to the office. I have a matter to speak to them about and called 7 days ago and never received a reply. It seems like my messages are never responded to since this call service took over. Again, love the staff.

Dr. Vogel is incredible. Smart, patient, kind. Helped me with my migraines when I really needed help. I've been with her over 10 years. Indiana Neurology and Pain Center is a different story. Impossible. I provided insurance 3 times including once leaving it on a recording. My first bill arrived without insurance having been billed. No one answers the -2040 number on the bill. It's a generic voicemail box without ability to leave a message. I emailed billing on 5/17, received a link to pay on 5/20, paid my bill on 5/22. Guess what came today, 6/28? A bill that's 60 days past due. Add dysfunctional to impossible. I'm so mad that I'm leaving a great doctor over an office that is so bad!! This only scratches the surface.
