Patient Testimonials

The office, nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Zarse himself are kind, professional, and accommodating. This was the best medical experience I've had where I was listened to and the medical professionals followed through with care and understanding rather than judgement. Thank you so much Idaho Spine and Pain!!

During the time of my appointments, I had to cancel one appointment due to a hemiplegic migraine. Then I had to cancel another appt last minute due to Covid which gave me an a sinus infection. While I had Covid, my father's Parkinson's declined quickly and I had to set up hospice at home for my father. My father passed away the following weekend. I wasn't getting better with my Sinus infection and went to Urgent Care and was put on antibiotics and a Steroid taper pack. I started a steroid taper pack 2 days before my back steroid injection appointment. I called the day of my appt to make sure it was okay before I came in. The girl that answered the phone talked to the nurse. I was told by her that the nurse said to finish the Taper pack & recommended me to reschedule my injection once my taper pack was finished. That way we could see if my back steroid injection would work on its own without an additional steroid being given. I was told that Hailey the office manager would also call me back that same day. I was never called back. After waiting for a call back (one month plus) and not getting one, I called the office at the end of December to get back on the books for my 2nd steroid injection. I was informed that they dismissed me as a patient due to the 3x canceled appointments & their policy. I left a message for Hailey and she reached out to me and told me she would would call me back after talking to Dr. Zarse about my situation. Today, Hailey told me that Dr Zarse is sticking to dismissing me as a patient. It seems like Dr Zarse didn't care that it was his nurse that recommended that. That has never happened to me in all of my years of dealing with the healthcare system. Their nurse was the one that recommended for me to reschedule. I should have not been penalized for the 3rd visit and dismissed as a patient since it wasn't me that actually canceled. They made that call. The hip steroid injection they gave me didn't do anything for the pain and neuropathy in my hip and leg. Parker the PA didn't endear himself on my first visit. He told me my pain and neuropathy was because I was old. I had no issues other than mild arthritis before my T boning car accident. Now I am in constant pain. My hip is at the point that it is locking up on me. My lower back hurts, so does my neck and in between my shoulder blades. Parker the PA didn't seem to really look at my records to see that I have a hematoma in my leg and a closed degloving injury from my car accident. I am having nerve issues with that injury as well but my ortho says I have to let it heal. I also told Parker that I had a concern that the tissues in my back look like they may have been injured (closed degloving) in the car accident but he didn't seem concerned nor want to look at the discoloration, bruising & lumps on my back. He said he didn't need to because my spinal MRI back in a June looked fine. Closed degloving injuries take months to show up after trauma, and the pain in my back/neck, hip and neuropathy have been getting worse. Considering that I have a closed degloving injury & hematoma in my leg, it seems wise to want to look at the areas again months later to see if I had any mild closed degloving injuries. I got one hip injection by Zarse. I was dismissed from their office for reasons out of my control. I have a new referral for a new spinal doc and spoke with their office about what happened to me here. My mom is glad I have a referral to the docs/office that took excellent care of her back injury and her surgery. They were very thorough with her, and I am hoping they will do the same for me.

My wife has been in considerable pain from a neck issue. We saw Russell Harmony and he was amazing. He was super understanding and expedited next steps for us in order for her to get the problem resolved. We were so comfortable with him and would highly recommend him for anybody that is in pain.

A year ago I herniated a disc in my lumbar spine. I was in so much pain, I felt completely hopeless. The providers at Idaho Spine & Pain helped set me up on a treatment plan that really worked, and now at a year later I'm happy to say I'm pain free.
