What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Dr. Tada is absolutely amazing. It took me many years to seek care from a Pain Management specialist and I came to trust him completely over my 2 years under his care. Unfortunately, his office no longer provides RFA procedures for Veterans because they state the VA will not pay for the procedure. After being told this, I contacted the VA Patient Advocate who in turn worked with Care in the Community and was informed that the VA would indeed pay for RFA. The Patient Advocate and CITC Clinician contacted Dr. Tada's office to explain the procedure would be covered. They tried several methods to try and get the procedure accomplished, but the office person was adamant they wouldn't be paid...even after repeatedly told the procedure would be covered. I was personally informed by the office person that if I received the procedure from another provider that I could no longer see Dr. Tada, told several times the procedure won't be covered, and that there was no method to provide feedback other than through this google review. After no progress with Dr. Tada's office, the VA contacted another provider who is known for his continuous service to Veterans and I made the difficult decision to leave Dr. Tada's care. The new provider was equally amazing and saw me quickly and performed the RFA...for which the VA did pay for (I received the benefits statement today). Again, Dr. Tada is one of the very best; however, there is a disconnect in their billing and understanding of the VA. If you are a Veteran and RFA is a procedure that is a stop gap between injections and surgery, advocate for yourself and allow the VA to intervene on your behalf.”

“Im a patient of Dr Wang. He has helped me with pain after I dislocated my rib cage while pregnant, i got turned away from many drs because they didnt want to treat someone pregnant with twins. He was the only one that was willing to help me and I am glad he did! From nerve ablations to the spinal cord stimulator, it completely resolved my pain. Anytime I have any issues he gets me right in and answers all my questions. He is very friendly, and takes in account of other health issues and listens to other specialists involved in your care. The staff is very nice. Danny the receptionist is very helpful and understanding. Highly recommend this clinic!”

“The receptionist(Auburn) is terrible. Twice she changed my appointment time 10 minutes later so I had to wait longer to see a doctor. I put in a complaint. Hopefully, she's fired so no one else has to deal with her incompetence. Everyone at the office is friendly besides her.”

“The worst! Tiffany Hooks is heartless. Also the fact that Dr.Wang backs her up shows how he cares about his patients as well. A family member who is 80 years old has been going to Dr.Wang for years without any problems. The problem started with his aprn Tiffany Hooks. She doesn't know how to handle complex cases nor does she have any compassion for patients. She doesn't even have much experience working as an APRN or provider and it truly shows. She adjusted my family members' medications when he was on a perfect regimen from Dr.Wang for over 30 years. Tiffany Hook instead sent him in to full withdrawals and wouldn't even help with that. She lacks experience in basic nursing/aprn provider needs. Bases her clinical judgment of results that are old or not correct. She won't even listen to other specialty providers such as cardiology on recommendations because ,She said "she knows best." Doesn't answer her calls in urgent situations. She truly lacks any experience of knowning a patient is suffering and withdrawals were occurring she discharged my family member and left him to go cold turkey. Imagine leaving someone suffering and not even have a heart or understanding. That is Tiffany Hooks. As a medical provider she lacks the empathy of looking as a patient as a human being and only cares for her and he ego/power trip. I work in the medical field as well and would never treat a patient like this. The culture of treating each patient as if they were your own family member doesn't exist to Tiffany. The Honolulu Pain management was a very good place until her. Tiffany Hooks ruined the clinic and I wouldn't recommend anyone to see her. Try to get another care provider instead of her at the Honolulu pain clinic. My family member is dying a very slow and painful life full of suffering because of Tiffany Hooks. Tiffany should not be a provider to the people in Hawaii and the clinic would be better off without her. The other providers there such as kelsi understand the local culture here and compassion treating patients.”
