What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“The pain clinic has really helped me on my journey and deal with chronic pain. The renovations are nice. If you are dealing with chronic this is a great place to check out. You may need a referral, but I've had a great experience here.”

“I would actually give a minus 5-star rating if possible. My girlfriend, who is in incredible pain constantly from a major stroke, wasted her time here with numerous visits over a long period only to not have her pain reduced one iota. We explained to Dr. Ferron and Dr. Clavelle that her pain was an even bigger contributor to her poor quality of life than the fact that her left arm and leg are paralyzed and she has to reside in assisted living. They kept making adjustments to her meds. They refused to give her a PRN for the Norco that had worked for her, and instead kept playing around with adjusting her Lyrica and Gabapentin to absolutely no avail. When we finally complained that there had no improvements and zero results from their treatments, they pushed her off to another facility. WASTE OF TIME!! My girlfriend missed or cut short many family outings and holidays due to their ineffective treatment, and now she has to start all over”

“Pain is a very VERY complex condition to "treat" and there is a LOT of money to be made by pharmaceutical companies and orthopedic centers. If you are looking for a quick "fix," injection, or procedure that will make you feel better; this is probably not the place for you. Do yourself a favor and read The Way Out by Alan Gordon and Alon Ziv. I first met Georgia as a pain psychologist (private practice) in 2009 after being hit by an oncoming car on while riding my bicycle. It was the suggestion after hundreds of appointments, injections, chiropractic care, and physical therapy. I distinctly remember scoffing at the idea of "welcoming the pain" Fast forward 10+ years and hundreds of additional appointments for more MRIs, injections, medications, and physical therapy all attempting to help with multiple herniated disks. Neuropathy, burning, uncontrolled twitching, intense pain, and lack of sleep... I was at the point of giving up when I reached out to Georgia in an act of desperation and learned about Riverway Pain Clinic. Since re-engaging with Dr. Ferron, Georgia Panopulous, Dr Clavel, and recommended physical therapy with Grant Kaper I finally feel like I have a good pain management plan. It has been hard work, takes daily effort, and I feel better than I have in YEARS.”

“The reviews speak volumes. There are some positive ones, I wish that would have been my experience. Dr. Meatta has no business being a "pain management" Dr. Her bedside manner is condesending, lacks care and any kind of compassion. Dr. Ferron is incredibly educated and can be valuable to understand what the use of pain medication can do and does to your body currently and long term. She should be a professor not a Dr. The program makes sense and I was on board and still am,just not at this Clinic. I cried most times leaving my appointments. I felt no concern for how I was adjusting to the reduction in medications I have been taking for 13+ years. She too was condesending, threatening and I felt like she was holding my meds over my head if I didn't do exactly what she said. Programs I couldn't afford, that I made perfectly clear but she didn't care. Continued to try to force me to do them all. I felt like a statistic not a 60 year old women looking to establish new care after moving to Minnesota from Texas. The ladies at the front desk are professional and caring.”
