Patient Testimonials
“The staff here are, for the most part, unfeeling and uncaring. Ruth at the front desk is the wicked witch of the practice. After I was referred to Dr. Liebowitz, the administrator demanded that my records from my previous doctor be FAXED. They have no email. My previous doctor is part of a huge corporation and has a separate entity to do records. They ONLY send email. After trying to reach someone at the nameless, faceless record keeping company, I finally got a person there to agree to fax my records to Liebowitz office. When I called a week later to confirm receipt of the records, I was told they never arrived, by the administrator (another Ruth). When I told her I was assured they had been sent, Ruthless then admitted that their fax machine had been down that week! I had to contact the huge record keeping corp. and beg to have my records faxed again. Once I finally got to see Liebowitz, I found him to be very personable, even if he did repeat himself to no end. Nice - yes, competent - not in a million years. Hed gave me minimal oral meds until an intrathecal pain pump was installed by a neurosurgeon, and two weeks of healing passed before he would remove the saline and fill HALF my pump with hydromorphone. I waited three hours the first day before being told the medication had not arrived! The next day, he had to DILUTE the medication (a big no-no according to the drug company) to be able to figure out how to give me the smallest dose possible. That pump was installed in September, 2023, and I still am not getting enough medication for adequate pain control. The man is terrified of overdosing a patient, so he erred on the side of leaving me suffering! We fired each other after about a month of this nonsense.”

“My headaches are due to encephaliomalgy & ischemia/ischemic diseases caused by craniotomy from Brain cancer additionally the hole in my head moves and the titanium daisies used to reattach my skull irritates the nerves on my skull. The headaches are severe enough I lose consciousness. The doctors dismissed me as a waste of time. Obviously I was not pleased however my wife saw the doctor later and encouraged me to try again showing him the research and that my headaches were organic as to origin. It made no difference stating "its only a headache". He also read notes from my last visit which were false placing him in a different 'caring 'demeanor' and just false regarding my symptoms. He dismissed the research and told me to get tylenol. I'm sure if I had been a drug rep the research would have been copied. Uncaring and lazy. They only have an interest if it leads to a procedure enabling higher billing.”
