“Five stars for my first consultation with Dr. Phillips for a degenerative spine condition I have had for several years. Also five stars for the first treatment -- a temporary nerve block -- of that condition. For many months prior to the nerve block, I experienced extreme discomfort when standing or walking for more than a few minutes. My treatment was at 9:00 AM on a Wednesday. That same day I was able to complete three sets of standing exercises -- a ten minute walk on a treadmill and performing two Tai Chi programs, totaling about 30 minutes -- all without any significant discomfort. I had been informed that this first treatment was diagnostic, and the benefit would be temporary. The pain relief lasted throughout Wednesday afternoon and evening. Thursday morning the pain returned. The treatment plan calls for one more temporary block, an evaluation of results, and a decision whether to proceed with a longer lasting block. Throughout my initial consultations and treatment, Dr. Phillips and his staff have been thorough, professional, and personable. The facilities are modern, spacious, and immaculately clean.
