“I have had several consultations with Dr. David and treatments he recommended subsequent to the consulations -- in 2009, and 2016. At each consultation I presented with very severe neck pain resulting from injuries. Specifically, in 2009 a local Chiropractor manipulated my cervical spine despite my expressed concerns about a history of episodic cervical pain, and in 2015 I sufferred a herniated disc at C4-C5 from an industrial accident caused by a careless co-worker. After each incident I chose conservative treatment though surgery had been recommended. In each instance, Epidural Steroid Injections performed by Dr. David and his team eliminated my use of very strong opioid pain medications within days, and provided for a pain-free existence thereafter -- and it is now 2024! Because of my experiences with Dr. David, I took my mother to see him for hip and lower back pain. I am confident that he will help her like he helped me -- I trust this man with my life and with those I love and care about. “2023-01-04 I'm here to tell you Dr. David, his fellow Dr. Nixon, the amazing team of nurses, anesthesiologists and other technical folk in his clinic and surgery center are, in my opinion, absolutely phenomenal. I had two days when I had first 3 and then 4 of a total of 7 vertebrae repaired by kyphoplasty. The same day as the first group was completed, I went for a walk with my wife for almost 3 miles. The day of the second set of repairs I walked for close to 2 miles. As of this writing, practically there is essentially no pain whatsoever, and this is not quite 3 weeks out. I had never heard of this surgery and my family's history with back surgery in another state was not good, so I had some trepidation about going in for the corrections. I was given a prescription for some pain medications, but all I needed was acetaminophen (Tylenol). My discomfort was minimal and I expect at the end of my 6 weeks, I will have no problems. He also referred me to Dr. Shuhart for followup with the previously undiagnosed and untreated osteoporosis. Dr. Shuhart is also personable and knowledgeable in his own right. “Sent home from surgery with half the pain medication as my husband normally takes. We live out of town and they did not mail the pain script in advance to account for our small town pharmacy only gets the mail 2 days a week. 3 weeks post surgery and my husband is in debilitating pain. When I called I was told "it was taken care of" by the receptionist and never got to speak with a nurse. Very sad. I will not be recommending this procedure like I thought. The trial surgery went better than this. My heart is very broken. Sad to see my spouse so disappointed and suffering. Call today and phone just rings until it hangs up. No answering service.”
