Ghassan Moufarrege - Pain Management in Huntington, West Virginia

“Please be afraid of any referral to the Recovery Center by Dr Moufarrege. The information that was put in my report was erroneous, misstatements and lies by the interviewer, Brandon Conaway. The report was ALSO co-written by a Dr. Daniel FRAME (whom I have never met). Dr Moufarrege scheduled me for surgery at Cabell Huntington Hospital to have a pain pump on 0805. I had to have a psychiatric review according to his staff on July 31. This review/interview is not needed by Medicare or my insurance according to the representatives at both Medicare and my health insurance. The dr talked to me the next day on Aug 1 and suggested a spinal cord stimulator. I did not want a stimulator. I told the nurse and staff I did not want a stimulator during the appt with the dr. They said they would get the dr to fix the order to show the original order of the pain pump. A member of the staff supposedly the nurse called and had my psychiatric review changed to a stimulator which I had never discussed at all with the psychiatric person. I received a call today Aug 14 that I had been approved for a stimulator but not a pain pump based on information/documentation from the dr and psychiatric reviewer. I do not want a stimulator so the case manager said they would refer me to another Dr after over 2 years seeking help and being scheduled the pain pump by Dr Moufarrege. After obtaining the report from the Recovery Center, it was full of misinformation about me and stated that he had discussed the stimulator with me and I had hope for the stimulator. This was never discusses with BRANDON CONAWAY at all. He put many slanderous statements in my report. I told the Recovery Center that I wanted to talk to Mr Conaway regarding the false information before the report was put in my CABELL Huntington Hospital file for every dr and possible outside source to review. They stated he no longer worked for them as he had finished his internship and referred me to Marshall Health Psychiatry where Dr Frame also supposedly works now. I am still waiting on a call back from the supervisor. I am very upset and find myself very depressed over the whole situation created by the staff of Dr Moufarrege and the lies in the report completed by the Recovery Center employee. The Revcovery Center said they could provide absolutely no help in regards to the false information in their report. So very upsetting for both my physical health and now they have created unnecessary emotional distress.”
