Garden State Pain & Orthopedics was founded in 1994 with the goal of providing compassionate and comprehensive pain management to people struggling with acute and chronic pain. Over the years, the practice has expanded to include more than 30 employees and currently has four convenient locations in Edison, Clifton, Hazlet, West Orange, and Jersey City, New Jersey. “I had good experience with Dr Levy's consult. However the billing handled by this office was very incorrect. They told me that it's in network provider and however after my visit was done they charged me $195 which was supposed to be for out of network. When I asked them, they said, "your plan is good and regardless for in-network or out-of network this is your copay". After I called my insurance I found out they were not in network. The office staff (and even Dr Levy) was very dishonest about how they handled this.”

“I found Dr. Patel summer of 2023 after experiencing some pain in my hip. During my first visit he did an amazing job validating my concerns and sending me on my way with a cortisone shot and a follow up to talk about next steps on treatment. Not even a few weeks later we discussed the possibility of surgery and that my symptoms were probably leading to something that had to be fixed beyond external measures. I was moving in a few months and was getting married a few months after that, so unfortunately I was on a fixed timeline toying with my health and a few life events. Dr. Patel and his team prioritized pushing up my surgery, which unfortunately uncovered something more major than the MRI unveiled, but he assured me that collegiate football players bounce back in mere months after this procedure. Through his ultra detailed post op recovery plan, combined with weekly then monthly check ins, I was back on my feet and dancing for my wedding 5 months after my surgery.”
