What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I've seen many specialists in pain management and ortho surgery and this is one of the most straightforward facilities I've encountered. Disabling sciatic pain/numbness from disc herniation over a year means you want someone to go straight to what works instead of going through hoops and hurdles. Dr. McGuire did just that and was as direct as could be. No sugar coating anything. No fake pity party. Options laid out clearly and a step plan made for options at first appointment. Just straight to what needed to be done and got it done right. The injection he performed was much more effective than the first one I had at a different facility.”

“Went in for pain management and left my appointment with Dr. Olsen feeling very alone and unheard. Absolutely zero medication to help. This office only wants to do injections. I was told when I got there it was only interventional treatment. Don't waste your time. Particularly Dr. Olsen.”

“I was referred to Dr. Olssen by my PCP. Had an appointment with him on Dec 29. In the meantime, I had a second, botched back surgery, and he told me I was prescribed a medication that was not acceptable while on pain mgt so he refused to treat me until I saw my Dr again. Months went by, some follow ups later, pain mgt office contacted me to schedule another appointment, weeks later, not with Olssen. At that appointment, the dr got a is,sent message to my PCP to refill pain meds for 2wks, and scheduled another appointment for 2wks out. Waited in endurance what seemed like forever for this, we'll see what happens next.”

“I was referred to Dr Olsson by a internist that practices in the office that I saw my doc to whom left suddenly. When my doctor disappeared I found it a monthly Challenge to refill the medications that I need to be able to comfortable enough to move, I catered to there wishes of taking all the meds that helped me get thru and move.when I asked for replacement. meds I was ignored.I get to doctor olsson and on my 1st appt, he told me in a abrasive voice I had a mental issue, I asure you I do not furthermore Not sure of his degree. Then he said he wanted xrays to see if I have arthur!! All this info along with 7 Maris are in my file and he obviously had spent zero time looking at my records. I well add cost me thousands as I did not want to live in pain and had done every thing in my power to get out of it his bedside manner was horrific.Chi has cared for my conditions for many years. Trusting I would be cared for I put my thoughts aside and continued on to the pain center. Nxt appt was seen by a Dr McCarthy whom informed me olsson was going to lower my dose 20%note its been several months that any doctor asked about my pain levels ect. And I stayed quiet because I knew they did not care to deal with CHRONIC PAIN.MEDICATIONS. I made my appt for .november and it was moved too dec, so when I had to call for my refill meds...as crazy as it is I was as used of cancelling my Nov appt and he would not refill my medication. I broke down and told the nurse it was against FDA RULES to do such to anyone. So then he agreed if I came in for a UA. He'd fill my meds.I gladly did so. He called my meds in telling me to take 20 tablets every four hours of course it wasn't filled after many calls to his office he called my meds in but took 100 Tablets away 85%. I will contact chi franscan about my experience When I called about my meds not being right Dr Olsson came back with I had Meth in my body!!! Absolutely not possible 11years of clear UA reports I don't take Street drugs never have never will I've spent days in my bed sick and in pain. Also my UA was not done by protocol as a matter of FA CT. My insurance never was billed by the company my lab never went too!! Was sent a FAKE SPREAD SHEET WITH A PHOTO COPY OF THE SO CALLED LAB INVOICE!! BEWARE OLSSON IS OVERWHELMED AND HAS NO TIME TO HELP ME OR ANYONE UNLESS HE CAN GIVE SHOTS THESE REVIEWS ARE DELEATED ON A REG BASIS”
