“I have to go to a pain clinic because of my health which I hate because people look at the fact you take pain medication your a second class citizen. I just had it happen at the clinic. They even pointed out to me how the nurse have to deal with a certain population which makes there job hard. What does that me certain population meaning second class citizen. Yes I was upset because they had me prove I was going on vacation and a pill count. Since I started seeing this NP they have NEVER counted my medication and last month when I went on vacation she called the pharmacy and said she was not concerned about my medication early fill and now this month I'm and over taker and I was short 7 pills. She also told me this month that I have a history of abuse which was interesting. Probably because I went to my primary last week with a complaint that my feet were so swollen and unable to walk and my blood pressure was was very high and she didn't even look at them. We discussed our upcoming vacations because we both we going to the same place and the football game and I was not wanting to go to a pain clinic that didn't care about your pain. Yes I was probably unhappy with them today. But I got my lecture put back in my place but I'm not going back if my primary won't take the prescriptions over I will just stop taking them and if the medication stopping so quickly does something to my body so be it. This from that certain population!”
