Evolve Restorative Center - Pain Management in Lakeport, California

“First of all I would like to say what I appreciate about Dr Pope and evolve restorative Center. Dr Pope is an excellent doctor/ surgeon; whenever I do get to see him, which is very rarely, he answers all my questions and listens to my concerns. The people that work in the Lakeport office are wonderful people; they are considerate thoughtful and very friendly. The Abbott Representatives, in particular, Anthony, is knowledgeable and always ready to help me. I have his cell number and he says I am free to call him anytime even weekends if I have a problem with my device. Now for the not so great stuff; the scheduling an organization of that is basically terrible. I even schedule on the lightest day at 1:00 so that I can be the first one in the door after lunch. I've been waiting now for 50 minutes. There's only one other person waiting but somehow Santa Rosa office has overscheduled the provider yet again. I can remember once in the last few years that I actually was scene within 15 minutes of my appointment time. Most of the time it's at least an hour and has gone up to 3 hours. The Santa Rosa office seems to want to do everything for the scheduling here in Lakeport and that is not good for the patients. Santa Rosa seems to schedule one provider, remotely, for both Santa Rosa and Lakeport at the same time. I just walked out and asked the office if I had been forgotten. The office staff here apologizes with a genuine heart but there's nothing they can really do because the Santa Rosa office rules overall. Now I finally just had the provider come online and the visit took less than 2 minutes! I'm just not sure why I can't have that 2 minutes when I'm on time and even early. I really do understand sometimes things go wrong but when it is Habitual it just gets very tiring and it's unnecessary. Hope this helps I do recommend Dr Pope though for nerve stimulating devices in any kind of surgery you need.”

“Dr Pope was great when he first arrived in Lakeport. After Lia his PA left, and he expanded his business everything went downhill for me. If you just want steroid shots one after the other he's your guy. If you want a person who will actually take time to recommend other therapeutic remedies for pain he is not. Other than a spinal cord stimulator he only offers injections. I had to ask for physical therapy. At this point he seems to care more about enlarging his practice. I was not impressed with his lack of accountability, when I questioned him as to why two of my appointments had been cancelled within a six-month period last year. One of which he himself had made. He had no explanation as to who or why it was cancelled. One would think a guy with a business with his name on it would know what was going on with said business, but no. Either he didn't know or didn't care. I was forced to drive to Santa Rosa to see him the following month, or wait two months for another Lakeport appointment. Not good!! I brought a receipt for the gas, it cost me to drive a 3 hour round trip, and he refused to pay it! Yes, refused! Even though the month prior he had guaranteed me he would see me the next month when HE. made the appointment!! No answers, zero accountability, I don't need doctors who behave in that manner.”
