“Dr. Hanley treated me horribly. She made me wait for 2 months before scheduling me for my spinal injections. This is continuing care and they have been doing these to avoid surgery at this time. After I arrived to what I was told was going to be my injection I have been waiting every minute to get because of the pain I was told by Dr. Hanley that they never received my paperwork from the VA and could not do it. I was extremely upset knowing she was lying to me. I tried to make an appointment 2 months prior but was told the Dr. couldn't even make me an appointment without a current referral. Mine had expired and the VA said they would send a current one. I told them one was on the way and if we could schedule it now so I don't miss any openings. She again said no they had to have the paperwork to ensure they get paid first. I personally seen it was done and they called me to make an appointment. Unfortunately it was for 2 months later and I was already in terrible pain. When I was seen it was not for my injections and nothing had changed with what I needed. She was short with me and told me again she would not do anything without the paperwork from the VA knowing she had it or she wouldn't be seeing me at this time. I told her I was going straight to the VA and see what the problem was. I went to the VA and set down and went over everything with a nurse. As I expected they were sent the paperwork 2 months prior. My nurse tried to call and it went to voicemail. My care provider then called to find out the problem and the office was on a half day and she was filling in. They did gave her look to see if they had the paperwork and she said it was definitely their and had been for months. Why she lied to me I have no idea? They knew I have been in horrible pain and could hardly stand because of the pain. This is not how a "pain management" company should behave. This is keeping me in severe pain every minute of my life. I had been waiting on this anticipating some type of relief every day and she could have cared less. The hospital sent me a review and I explained what happened and the next thing I hear back is they don't want me there anymore. This is horrible way to treat a person that has waited on you for so long and now I have no idea when I will see any relief. I haven't been able to work and had to hire someone to do my daily chores to help my wife around the farm. I will be filing a complaint the the Missouri Board of Healing Arts and contacting legal council to see what I can do. This is not how our medical Dr's should treat patients and especially when in severe pain with them as the only help. This is substandard medical treatment and I will be using all the social media platforms to expose her and what she did to me. I hope she tries to make excuses and lie some more, I recorded the entire visit once I seen how it was going. The recording will be on social media for everyone to hear her lies. She shouldn't be able to practice medicine when she has the power to do this to people. This is the worse medical treatment I have ever receives. Hope she is happy with what she did to me and had a good 1/2 day and long weekend. I am still in terrible pain and it could have been avoided. There will be consequences for her actions on this as I will not let it go until she understands it is not OK to do this. They treat veterans like they are expendable and our feelings don't matter. Horrible person.”

“When I met Dr. Hanley I was on large does of strong pain medication, muscle relaxers and nerve pain meds. She helped me to realize they were doing more harm than good. I got off all meds and we discussed steroid injections. This heightened my ptsd and anxiety due to past experiences with these procedures. She offered sedation due to this and changed my life. I will forever be grateful for what she has done for me.”
