“Very disappointed in Dr. Hord. My mom was a long time patient and was dismissed by Dr. Hord on mychart. My mom found out by reading her chart. Dr. Hord was aware my mom was seeing a pain management doctor at Froedtert for treatment modalities as recommended by her Ortho spine doctor and the doctor at Froedtert was not prescribing any medication. Dr. Hord contacted the doctor's office at Froedtert to turn over care and have the other doctor prescribe my mom's pain medications. I received a call from Froedtert informing me the doctor was going to do the procedure but would not be taking over pain medication management. This left me in a position of having to figure out how and who would be prescribing pain medication and managing my mom's chronic pain. I had told doctor Hord previously the Froedtert pain doctor was agreeing to do treatment modalities but would not prescribe medication, so she was well informed. The staff are difficult to work with, can be rude, lack compassion and the communication is poor. I could recount many unpleasant experiences over the past several years. I myself working in the medical field over 30 years find this to be irresponsible behavior.”
