“My husband was struggling with a pinched nerve for nearly 4 weeks that was causing not only significant back and neck pain, but numbness in his right arm. Traditional medicine was such a waste...took a week to get a call back, the nurse practioner couldn't answer any questions and facilitated an xray only to then send him to a PT - she "wasn't allowed" to prescribe pain meds...even though he wasn't sleeping and in significant pain. Dr. Verma gave my husband relief in less than an hour. Scheduled the appointment, he reviewed the xrays, gave him a shot and he had his best day in weeks. We'll return once he gets an MRI as we believe PRP is a better alternative then back/neck surgery. We're done with the traditional medical routes unless we experience something catastrophic. Dr. Verma is very knowledgable, thorough, and we didn't feel rushed - he took the time to explain and listen and provide options unlike our primary care process ...with insurance covering nothing these days - private pay is the way to go...you're going to pay out of pocket either way - I'd rather spend the money on a great patient experience with a caring doctor that isn't handcuffed by the insurance companies and Ohio Health's of the world. Truly a shame what's happening to healthcare in this country. Thankfully there are Direct Service Providers like Dr. Verma that are stepping up to provide the type of healthcare we should be receiving.”
