“AVOID!!! Please read all of these 1 star reviews before you walk through the front door here, as they paint a pretty clear picture. I'd give them 0 stars if I this review system allowed for it. I saw Dr. Montuori in mid October for chronic neck pain / headaches. I typed a summary of all the doctors I've seen and medications I've been on over the past 3.5 years (easier to remember it all this way). He wasn't interested in reading it and seemed like he had his mind made up of what he wanted to do before even talking to me, and I now understand why after receiving the bill. This procedure must be quite the revenue generator for this "non-profit" facility. I was told the recommended first step was to get an Epidural injection. They said I'd be in and out in less than 30 minutes and that they do a lot of these. It sounded pretty routine. I was in the procedure room to get the injection for less than 10 minutes. The doctor was in there for maybe 5 minutes. Afterwards, they had me wait 20 minutes to make sure there was no adverse reaction and I left. I was beyond shocked when I received a bill for nearly $4600 dollars. I thought it must be a mistake, but I called and spoke to many people both at the facility, as well as the general Elliot billing department, trying to find out how such a quick and seemingly routine injection could cost so much. I kept hitting dead ends. Looking up the billing code for this procedure, I found that this place charged anywhere between 3 and 10 times the going rate for this. I guess it's my fault for not shopping around and making sure I knew exactly how much this was going to cost. This 5 minute procedure brought me to just about my out of pocket maximum for this fiscal insurance year, in an instant. In hindsight I should have asked, but the fact that they don't tell you up front how much they charge for something like this is ridiculous. There's much more that I want to say about this place, but I don't want to have this review removed for the kind of language I'd use. Oh, and as a quick side note, the injection did NOTHING to help with my symptoms. I'd have been better off flushing the $4600 down the toilet.”

“In regards to Dr. Montuori No stars at all. Very highly do not recommend, he has no respect to patients. He has an attitude that make you feel uncomfortable, he is not compassionate or encouraging. You literally do not feel like you are with your Dr. He must be new, because he does not know how to politely interact with patients. Although Im sure he has been to the Dr in his life, so he should know how to treat patients with respect. There should be a survey each time to rate your experience after the visit, because once people complain he will start to show a different personality. All of the staff positions at Elliot is highly recommended they are the best, except my experience with this Dr. Seriously if he does not change his attitude he will not last because people will definitely complain.”

“Elliot Pain Man. Does not actually have any of the services they show listed on their website. I have been my husbands medical advocate for years and have never been treated so poorly. And if you question them about all of the other services, they are rude. My husband never got a full consult, never received any of the supposed behavior support benefits to deal with his chronic pain. There was no management of his pain, they just want to use their expensive equipment every 3 months and then screw up the billing..”
