Patient Testimonials

I am an Uber driver. I picked up an elderly woman today from this facility. She was waiting in a wheelchair in the parking lot with the hot sun beating down on her. This was a scheduled pickup at 3:30pm. When I arrived to pick her up it was 3:28. She told me they wheeled her out to the parking lot 30 minutes before my arrival. She was notably upset. She had NOBODY to help her get into my car. She had nobody to help her with her oxygen tank. She had no help with her wheelchair or the drink she had with her. She seemed emotionally drained. I am not trained for elderly care but I do respect all of my elders. I did my best to get her into my vehicle. I handled her oxygen tank, something I've never done before because im not trained to do so. Now I may need to find a treatment facility for my own back pain because I had zero help getting her wheelchair into my car. I wrote these people a note letting them know she made it to her destination and told them that Uber drivers greatly appreciate tips. Now I sit at home with something wrong with my lower back and they didn't tip me one single penny. This doctor must be hard up for money if he's going to treat his patients and their drivers this way.

I tore my meniscus in 2022, had surgery and recovered well. I tore my meniscus again in 2023, had surgery again. This time 40% of my meniscus removed and I never recovered. I suffered debilitating, chronic knee pain. After trying 22 separate therapies such as painkillers, cortisone shots, gel injections, specialized shoe inserts, three rounds of physical therapy, laser therapy, TENS unit therapy, chiropractic manipulation, DMSO cream, genicular nerve ablation, various medications etc., I elected to have a NALU brand peripheral nerve stimulator implanted into my thigh/knee. I went to Elite Pain Doctors for this treatment and eventually had Dr. Sloop perform the surgery to implant the peripheral nerve stimulator. The employees here were always kind and courteous. Dr. Sloop was extremely good about explaining everything in great detail and listening to my surgical comments/concerns. I was concerned that this procedure would be painful due to the fact your "awake" for it and it's a somewhat involved procedure. Dr. Sloop and his team made sure I had a nearly pain free surgery and all went very well. I'm still recovering as of the writing of this review, but so far-so good. I give credit to Dr. Sloop and his team for being professional and courteous. But above all, actually listening to the patient, which can be rare anymore.

For me, it worked only while i was doing the therapy. Within 2 weeks afterward, it was back with a vengence. And that was after I spent $6500 out of my pocket for the therapy. I bought an infared wrap for my legs to similate what they did for me but it doesnt help much.

I'd like to thank Elite Physical Medicine for making me part of their family in my health challenges. No I didn't need to have surgery on my Right hip, since it wasn't very bad shape. My hip doctor let me know that the left tip that was looking in very bad shape. In fact should hold up for quite some time. It appears the stem cell injections there may save me both surgery and a painful recovery. I appreciate that I made big strides just in the past 3 years in my condition that has kept me down for thirty years with their ongoing chiropractic therapies.
