“Hello, I have been a patient of Dr. Leroy's for a couple of years. He is great. Every month I talk to him and he asks me about my health issues in a very detailed manner. He goes over my meds and my pain issues. He prescribes my medicines and sends them in to my pharmacy immediately. If any problem arises with the insurance, his staff takes care of it promptly. I have been under pain management care for a very long time. Have been through several doctors and Dr. Leroy is the best in my opinion. I thank him and his staff for taking good care of me.”

“DO NOT, go to this doctor. I had my initial appointment with him today, when he came into the exam room my husband was with me. He asked a question about a date from several years ago, I told him I could not remember the date, my husband told him the date, he then said to my husband quote "I do not want you to talk or say anything while in my office and if you do I will kick both of you out of my office". We are both in our late 70's and have never had a doctor say anything like this before. My husband simply told him the date for the question he had asked me. He keeps getting louder and louder as he was asking me questions. Eventually he was yelling at me for not remembering every date from years ago. My husband finally said "Please do not yell at my wife" he began to literally start screaming at my husband to get out of his office. I told him I was very uncomfortable with his screaming at my husband and being so rude to me, he then screamed at me quote "get out of my office; I don't want you as a patient". This was my first appointment with him (after waiting 4 months before he set an appointment date, after my back surgeon had sent several request to him for a referral), I was referred to him by my back surgeon for my continuous back pain, because my surgeon is not a pain specialist doctor. I am 76 years old and my husband is 75 years old, this man Dr. Edward Leroy actually made me cry. I have since read multiple reviews where he has been rated very poorly, many say they experienced the very same problem I had with this doctor. Please read all the reviews you can before making any type of appointment with this man. I believe the high score review ratings are fictitious. After my experience I can honestly say the low ratings are extremely true. For those of you, who may think there is more to this review then I am telling you, trust me this is exactly how it happened. Our appointment lasted less than 10 minutes.”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Leroy's for almost 5 years. During that time I've come to like and respect him. In the last few month he has become unreasonable and very disparaging. Never had to leave a negative response to a doctor before. He has become, someone who is totally unreasonable and will not even listen to you. I am in his parking lot after being kicked out of his office. I paid my bill in full. I have come out here to what you know what my feelings are. Something is wrong with Dr. Leroy , he has become a different person in the last couple of months. All of staff has left and now new people have taken over which seem very nice but you're not allowed to talk to anyone other than him. PA Pam is extremely nice but only works over the phone and he will not let you talk with that person any longer. Something in his personal life has disrupted his ability to be a competent doctor. I wish him well, but unfortunately I am moving on, and I would recommend you to move on to a different pain management specialist.”

“*note to all the negative reviews* Dr.Leroy has been an incredible advocate for his patients. While CVS has treated me subhuman, Dr. Leroy helped me find a pharmacy that would take me. He didn't have to do that. But he did. He's incredibly busy and is one of the few pain doctors that actually prescribes medication. If you know how to speak to him, you have a fine appointment. I tend to be very sensitive but I've learned how to talk to him to get the best out of my appointment. He cares and he is trying. I used to dread my appointments with him. But he and I came to a better understanding of each other. HE IS HUMAN. He may be a doctor, but he is also a person. And we as people need to remember that. God bless you Dr. Leroy. Thank you for taking me seriously when nobody else would. Dr.Leroy even though his bed side manners leave something to be desired. He's actually a really good doctor. He has to be harsh because he doesn't want to lose his practice and lots of people abusing their medications. I failed a drug test 3 times for codeine in my system. Something in not prescribed and we couldn't figure out why. He was incredibly kind to me about it. We figured out it was all the poppy seeds i had been eating because I went to an anti-inflammatory diet. Stopped eating them and bam cleaned. He could have booted me. Most Doctor's would. Even though I get anxious talking to him. I know he has my best interest at heart. Especially when my daughter passed away. You could tell that hurt him. He's always been wonderful to my children. When you feel overwhelmed stand firm. He respect it. I told him how I turned my life to christ and that's why I have less pain. I said it was silly. But he softened a lot. Remember we're not the only one's suffering. I learned some personal things about him that i wont share. But it explains why he is the way he is. I've been with him 5 years and the only way I'm leaving is once I'm healed of my afflictions. Plus lashae and the rest of the girls have been a true blessing. I miss Ladonna Holt. She became a very close confidant to me. But I like the new nurse practioner. Just try and be detailed in with what's wrong. He's so busy he doesn't have time to chat. Just pray that the lord softens his heart before he sees you. That's what I do. Thank you Dr. Leroy for treating me like a person and not just another script to write.”
