“I'm never happy to give a bad review but I feel I must here as a warning to others. I'd seen another place for pain, since moving to a new state, but it was real disorganized and had a lot of trouble with getting things approved through Medicare. I'm very selective about doctors and know the right one when I see them. I was recommended to this doctor by an ortho surgeon I felt very good about which made me upbeat and hopeful he'd be the same way. I tried to explain the long sordid tale of what I've been through for many years, along with what I would like to do. This doctor seemed so angry, and treated me like I was some kind of drug addict. I was so shocked I wasn't able to say much while there and only just decided to warn folks. If you've had adventures in pain for many years like I have, be prepared if you see this doc. He doesn't do well with people who are intelligent enough know their own bodies, and to speak up about their care. Rather than tell me nicely what I wanted wasn't really possible he told me I was welcome to shop around to find a doc that would do what I want. Guess he's not dealt with a lot of people who prefer to have a say in how they're treated. All I could think was, "This is a very angry man who absolutely has no business being in pain management where compassion is a requirement. I sure hope he never sees the day when every day without narcotics is an agony that takes away your enjoyment of life, and hope one day he figures it out and becomes a much better doctor.”
