I was recently seen for some concerns I had by Dr beecher. Normally I see Trent. Dr beecher was extremely rude. His nurse was extremely rude. They both acted like I was a burden. A bane of their existence. Then he proceeded to tell me that he didn't think that my chronic illness (elhers danlos syndrome) was "painful". Every person is different. Especially regarding eds. Doctor's like him are the reason people who are chronically Ill don't see doctors. He needs a serious lesson on bedside manner and empathy. I will go see someone over the mountain from now on rather than go to him.

$300+ just for a consultation...... there was some kind of mix up with my insurance. I didn't want to deal with the insurance run around, so I wanted to pay out of pocket. They couldn't pull up my bill for some reason so I couldn't pay. They said they would call me as soon as they found the issue, for months I didn't hear a word from them. So, I went in again to see if they figured it out and yup, they did yet no call, email nada. I paid my bill and asked if I could possibly get a letter from one of the Doctors suggesting I go to a gym to lose some weight, so my HSA will cover it. Something that would take literally 5 minutes. They said they would call me, again. Surprisingly they did call this time, a week later. Now considering I have been visiting them off and on since I was 15, you'd think they would have a good idea of my back issues, but they said since I haven't been seen in a little over a year, I'd have to get another consultation! If you would have called me the first time, it would have been under a year. Regardless, seems to me that they just want to squeeze me for more cash and my time. Seriously concerning and disappointing.
