What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“This is more about the tv show they have playing in the waiting area. It's not appropriate to push politics in a doctors office. It's not on silent and not everyone wants to be forced to hear this while waiting for a doctor. Put it on silent or change to something normal like most offices. This is not the time or place for this.”

“Beware, this clinic bills itself as a hospital. This is an extremely important detail because 9/10 insurance companies bill differently for this tax ID (the patient is responsible to pay more in this situation if the deductible has not been met). The reason I'm rating 1 star is not my experience in office, but because I called Duke billing PRE-PROCEDURE to ensure I was covered, which they stated I would be in full. Was later charged $3500 for a steroid injection (which my insurance didn't fully cover, left with over $1000 bill, solely because this clinic bills itself as a hospital). Hope this saves at least 1 person money.”

“I have always had great care with Duke Hospital clinics until my recent experience with this particular clinic. The staff is not consistent with their providers and their policies such as counting pills upon follow up visits. I experienced 11 visits and saw 6 different providers making it challenging to build a relationship with a provider. I was humiliated during my last and final visit. Situation is too long to write about but the front desk clerk is not properly trained to handle patients who are upset and did not know the protocol for finding a member of the leadership staff to handle a sensitive patient. The providers never offered other avenues for pain management, just medication. I will not be returning. However, I will note that the nurse staff are excellent and compassionate.”

“My wife goes to this clinic and sees Doctor Smith. They have given her first class service. The staff as well as Dr Smith are compassionate and extremely proficient. I would (and have) recommended this clinic to anybody in pain. I am blown away by the bad reviews posted. Our experience has been excellent. This does not mean my wife is no longer in pain. It means this group has made the pain more manageable. There is no cure for most cronic pain.”
