Patient Testimonials
“Dr. Gabriel and his staff are great. He definitely hires educated Physician Assistants. I know that walking into a 'pain management' office carries a stigma. "Oh, you just want drugs". Never did I feel that seeing his office. I'm in pain, can you help me? He isn't just handing out meds. He actually treats pain conservatively and uses in patient procedures. If you stick with the treatment plan you're going to get relief. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because their phone system is a hot mess. He and his staff have a lot riding on the line. The people who use narcotics for fun ruin it for others who truly need meds to get through the day.”

“Technically, this a negative review. Even tho it requires you to select one star to leave a review. Do not let Michael, the CEO, Dr.Gabriel, and David. Treat you. I have Crohn's Disease, a Brain Tumor and a severally damaged low back l5 thru both si joints. I had previously come from the office that David worked at, that office when i asked to be placed on a lower dosage of pain medication, I was given something brand new. So that doctor took me from very heavy pain meds to something that was not even a pain medication. I was found unresponsive in a seizure and it took the ER to bring me out of it. So, I found Dr Gabriel's office, the visits we're great as long as they had my insurance to keep running for injection treatments. Which last short term, week maybe two at most, then you have to wait till they say you can have the injections again. In the mean time, David w Dr Gabriel's agreement decided to place me also back on pain medication, I did this for I believe only one month. THEN, I decided I wanted to try to live w the pain, completely w out the pain meds. After consulting 7 doctors, I was told that in my condition (Crohn's that is severe and a brain tumor that is not controlled), that since I had been on the pain meds that I could not go straight off of them. The pain docs I called, the gp's and St.Ants and U.C. campus doctors advised I get a doctor to get a medication called Suboxone, (this medication is used two ways, for serious drug addicts on big illicit drugs and for normal people that live in Long term pain, but need to come off of the pain meds to let the body have a break) I am the second. I needed a break from the pain meds. So I think in September or October beginning of, I used the Suboxone and in 1 month was done w the negative side of taking your self off of pain medications(the withdrawal), three weeks ago, w my doctor's and family saying your in to much pain, go back on for a little while. So we drive an hour and 15 min to see David the P.A. he wasn't available for my appointment for some reason and my appt became w Michael the CEO. So, we discuss that I need to go back on. And give a urine sample. All three knowing that I use CBD oils for the tumor and use one strip of the Suboxone one a month to settle the damaged receptors(it's like an electric uncomfortable feel, and yes was still getting that feeling after being off pain meds for over six months. Only reason I used it. So they have the urine. It only takes 48 to get the results, I am told after one week that it still was not back. Waited another two weeks for them to call me back, still nothing untill today. To which the CEO, mind you....calls my mother, I'm disabled so we live under the same roof, well anyway calls her not me. To try and explain that they no longer have any prescribers, and that David has been very Ill and they don't know if he will ever be back to work (their words). I listened to him try to explain why I couldn't come back in to be treated, short term on the pain meds. As I listened it became apparent that this was over them not getting to bill my insurance(Medicaid) for the big ticket items like my injections. They just don't make enough off of us on a Dr office visit and a script. I had all my doctor's/gp/GI, endocrinologists including the prescriber of the medication to come off of the pain meds my first time, tell me. Have your pain mgmt Dr call us. I asked that they do this, they refused. This is yet another office that failed themselves and a patient. Please do your research, do not just trust that they are telling you the truth, or that they know exactly what meds to put you on, cause they don't, they shoot from the hip, guess...etc. If prescribed medication, research it. Research the doctor's. Watch what they are billing your insurance for sure. Understand that this is a business to make money from the pain your living with. I can honestly say, I have never been so amazed at how horrible this office changed, and how they treat people. And document everything like I did. , (r)”
